Horrible! Was my first and LAST visit! Staff was not friendly except to each other. Talked so fast we had to ask what a couple times. The food was greasy and tasted like old grease. We got 2 order that's had toast but only one had the toast toasted on both sides. The white cheddar balls were fried so much hardly cheese and the ones that had cheddar were so rubbery we had to spit it out because it was awful to chew. When we paid we had to say "thank you" to them. The only thing that was good was the drink. Unbelievable!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! As we were waiting on ours a door dasher was picking up an order. I had to tell him the cap on drink was about ready to fall off. They messed up the order and as he was trying to explain they were so rude to him. Just sad overall!!! I had to give one star but it would of been NO STARS!!! So far, so good with my local Zaxby's. I've been lucky enough to visit when there hasn't been a line, so (knock on wood) I haven't had any issues with my orders. I always enjoy my salads from here, but my real issue is the drink. This is not unique to Zaxby's, but it's a growing annoyance. As you can see in the photo, the cup is filled with ice, so I got about 5 drinks of soda with my meal. This was a drive thru order, so you can imagine how much more ice was in there before the 10 minute drive home. If it needs that much ice, why serve in a styrofoam cup? read more

Second time giving this place a chance. The first time we waited in the line for 45 min to get home and have everything but one thing correct. I called immediately and spoke to the manager Kaytlyn and she said," on your next visit give them my name and the complete order will be on us, tell them it's in the books. Horrible experience here. We walked in and as soon as we got in line, noticed water (or some liquid) spilled all over the chairs for waiting on your food. I walked around to look for a place to sit down with my kids while my husband ordered the food. There was a booth with the same situation. Someone had spilled an entire drink on the seat. There was nobody walking around clearing/wiping down tables or anything. My husband ordered and we waited. And waited, and waited.... for 30 min. We could see the girl behind the counter pulling off receipts and getting confused. What looked like the manager just had attitude and was moving slow as molasses. Once my husband saw our food he walked up and had to tell the girl behind the counter. She had it in her hand and just put it back because she had no idea what she was doing. When I got my "Cobb salad" the egg wasn't even cut up. And my husband and kids chicken was over cooked. A lady who had ordered before us, still hadn't gotten her food by the time we had finished eating!! This manager has got to get it together. We will not be returning to this establishment. read more

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at Zaxby's. My patronage of this restaurant goes back a long way as I open the third restaurant in existence. My son and I stopped at this location and I got a chicken chicken sandwich which was lukewarm at best with very very small chicken tenders inside of it. My son got the wings and things combo which was literally cold inside. The french fries were mushy and soggy and the chicken was cold. I brought his food back and let them know and they really made the food for him. The second time around once again it was cold as if it had come from the freezer and just been flash fried but not fried long enough to actually heat the chicken up. Utterly disgusting. The restaurant was file at best with sticky floors and overflowing trash cans and a Coke machine that was out of all of its flavors. There was no ice in the restaurant and the service was unacceptable at best. I called the 800 number to let them know my experience and while they took all of my final information and comments, I never heard back from them. Why have a number to call when you will not follow back up with your customer who had a really really poor experience. We will never eat at this location again. I'm also finding many of these restaurants, Zaxby's, or falling into the same state of disrepair and poor service with low quality food. Such a shame as it was a great establishment for many years. I must preface this review by saying that after multiple trips to this location, I wish Yelp had a 'zero-star' rating. One star is far too much for this establishment. My most recent, and ultimately final trip to the Plant City Zaxby's, resulted in an absolutely dismal and disgusting degree of customer service and lack of 'with-it-ness' from the kitchen staff. I ate in the dining room with two other people, one of which who is 76 years old. We ordered two 'Black and Blue' salads and 5 mild wings. The problems began after we received our meals. One of the salads had the wrong dressing and the wings were not mild. The amount of 'wetness' and visible pepper, as well intense flavoring indicated an incorrect saucing. When I approached the service counter to inform them of this error, I was not offered any assistance. The staff was anything but competent or helpful. One crew member was talking to her assumed-to-be boyfriend, who had walked in from outside. Not one time did the crew member ask if I needed help. Clearly I needed help, as I was 3 feet away from the counter looking directly at the crew members. Of which several looked directly back at me. And while a couple crew members were helping other patrons, the closest one (the one talking to her boyfriend), failed to address my needs. This is uncalled for. After waiting for several more minutes, I gave up and went back to my seat. We wiped off the wing's sauce, ate our salads, and immediately left. I have heard that the service here is spotty at best; however, after this recent trip, 'spotty' is not accurate of how my party and I were treated: rude and incompetent are better words for describing this place. This is the worst zaxbys in the area. Full of rude employees that treat customers as a burden to their time. On numerous visits our order has been wrong but this is the first time I have spoken up about it. When I have went back to show them it was wrong all I got was attitude and a look like I was once again a burden on them. They nickel and dime you for their sauce and at their high price point I shouldn't have to pay 25 cents for an extra sauce when spending 10$ on a chicken finger platter. I love the Zaxbys food and it's a shame I have to deal with wrong orders and attitudes to eat the chicken fingers I love. Hopefully corporate will do something soon. read more

I have gone to this restaurant multiple times and have yet to go and there not be an issue. Tonight we were in the drive thru for 25 minutes. We only ordered the kickin chicken meal and a salad. We also ordered extra hot sauce and extra ranch. We were charged for the extra sauce but it wasn't in our bag. In addition, there was no fork for the salad and no napkins included. During previous visits we have experienced extremely long wait times in the drive thru and also inside. We have had missing items and orders made wrong everytime we go. If my husband weren't such a big fan of their kickin chicken we wouldn't return. Just go knowing you'll have a wait and check your food before you leave. read more

I paid a little under $25 for a fountain drink, 4 chicken tenders, regular serving of fries, 10 wings, regular serving of Cole slaw, a piece of garlic bread and an order of onion rings.
