The history of the "Reisinger Wurstbraterei" begins shortly after the Second World War, when the great-grandfather opened the family business in 1946.
As far as their brats are concerned, they are as good as anyone else's. Their rolls are somewhat soft lacking a crunchy exterior I normally look for German bread rolls. It tasted very good nonetheless, and for 2.80 euros for a three-piece perfectly-roasted bratwurst sandwich, you just can't go wrong. It looked like there was a constant flow of local folks waiting in line every time we passed this area. That's a great indication that it's a solid operation.
It was a very convenient quick lunch--we sat on a bench nearby according to the current pandemic prevention ordinance measures--during our visit to Regensburg. When you're in Regensburg, you make sure to try this one.
