Good size, warm room (in fact we always stay in the same one), large, secure ski room within a few metres of the hotel entrance, bus to the ski slopes stops right outside the hotel every ten minutes, good restaurant with wide choice of dishes especially the Italian pizzas from a proper pizza oven. But this restaurant is extremely popular, so make sure you book a table before going out for the day. Fantastic offer this year our ski passes were a third of the normal price because we bought them through the hotel on arrival. St. Moritz is really expensive, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Also this year the internet access was wireless, not wired and really fast (something you don't find in every hotel).

Food came out super quick and the drinks were huge and very strong. The views are incredible and we were actually able to get in right at noon with no reservation. They sat us at a table that had a reservation starting at 1:45 pm and let us know we just had to be out by then which was more than enough time for a couple drinks and lunch before hitting the slopes again. If you want to be right on the edge or have a large party though definitely make a reservation.

The line both days was an hour wait but it is so worth it and the view in line makes it go by faster. We ordered the meatballs for our starter the first time and it was incredible one of the best meatballs i've had. The truffle fettuccine alfredo was very delicious the pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was so good you could drink it. The sedanini 3 tomato pasta had a very good flavor profile and tasted very fresh. The carbonara was also extremely good and had guanciale which added the most perfect saltiness. The tiramisu was also very good i enjoyed that the coffee used was not caffeinated so we were all able to sleep that night. The second time we went i had to step out to attend a meeting via zoom and took my food to go. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating and offered to pack up some of the delicious tomato cucumber salad my parents had left for me. The hospitality in this restaurant is next level everyone is extremely nice and welcoming.

I had a lovely glass of champagne and Nero d'Avola. The bread basket had a variety of fun crisps to eat. My green salad starter was simply a bed of lettuce--but made amazing by the delicious dressing they put on top. I also tasted my friends' tuna carpaccio and tomato mozzarella salad--both of which were nice--but the truffle pasta really took the cake. So rich and creamy with a heavy scent of truffles, just one bite was sooo decadent. My dinner selection was a 200g steak with sauteed mushrooms. I was expecting little button mushrooms à la grilled mushrooms in the U.S., but instead these were HUGE, thick slices of mushrooms that covered the entire top of my steak. Totally took me by surprise, but it was a perfect complement to the meat. Ordered medium, it seemed a bit rarer than what I'm used to, but the steak was totally tender and delicious. I don't know what my friend ordered, but I tried his thin slices of semi-rare beef, and it was also very good. One of my friends ordered tiramisu for dessert, and it came with a very light, airy cream, almost like whipped foam on a cappuccino. Quite tasty, but I think I actually prefer the heavier mascarpone filling. My dessert of choice was of course something I've never tried before--a warm dish of cooked plums with pink pepper and mint ice cream, topped with a spun sugar nest. A bit tart yet also sweet, it was a delectable finish to a fantastic dinner.
