What a great place. I had heard of this place many times and seen it on social media. One day we finally made it out there and were pleasantly pleased. There's plenty of parking directly in front and the location is easy to find. You're immediately greeted by the friendly staff as you enter. I had checked the Yelp reviews and their website, so I knew what I was getting. I went for their SPECIAL. It's beans, rice, a taco and an enchilada. It is advertised at 10.99, but at the restaurant it's actually 11.99. Of course we also had to get the $5 margarita. The rice was fluffy and the beans were really good. The taco was crunchy with meat and fresh cheese. The cheese enchilada along with the sauce was also great. This was good food and great for the price. We heard the music start playing near the bar and saw people starting to dance. Service here is quick and friendly. The prices are average, the location is welcoming. I have been dying to eat here, as I've heard food was good. After linedancing at Montana's we came here for a late dinner. We had to pay a cover to get in. Which was not cool since we were only going to eat, not dance. Waitress got my order wrong, but, I left it alone. She repeated it correctly, but who knows what happened. I totally recommend The hard shell tacos and chicken enchiladas, though. I'd come back but will definitely argue to cover since I'm only there for dinner, not to dance. read more

It was awesome and I'm super impressed they serve all soups any day of the week, while most Mexican restaurants only do certain soups on the weekend. I ordered the grilled fish tacos and crispy potato tacos, and it just seemed very mediocrely put together. The cheese for the crispy fried potato tacos were cold and not melted, but the worst part was that I could visibly see a dark brown/black fry on the potatoes and I could taste that the deep fryer oil was old and bad. It was a major turnoff because it left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I definitely won't come back unless I have to. The service was great though! They did take care of us and made our family feel special which was nice. We came for a birthday celebration and because there was no wait, but this was mediocre casual Mexican food at most. Hear me out! I want to start off by saying, the Dj that plays here often kicks ass on the 1 & 2s, meaning he's a pro when it comes to music transitions. Not gonna lie if he's playing, PEOPLE WILL BE DANCING! His music style ranges from Old school R&B, early 2000's hip-hop bangers, disco, funk, cumbia, merengue, and some house. Second, this location usually pulls people within age groups such as 20s to 50s which is a nice mix. I came here on Friday Aug 11th "during a special event" or (just weekends in general) and man it was like a milf and cougar sanctuary, so many bombshell latin women and I'm not even exaggerating cuz I have high standards and I wanted to dance with each and everyone of them. I went here with a friend for lunch. I got the carnitas burrito and beef taco, my friend got beef taquitos and cheese enchilada. The burrito was a good size and the carnitas were very tender but lacked any flavor. The beef taco was a hard shell they freshly fried, was very tender and quite tasty. My friend's taquitos were a good size and very good. The enchilada was good even if the sauce was extremely mild. The place was very clean. The chairs and tables were very mismatched, one tale with 15 chairs may have had 4 chairs that paired up. The staff were curt but polite, no smile until we left. I used to come here regularly. As a matter of fact, I held monthly meeting luncheons years back. BUT, Tony (the owner) did me wrong and I stopped going in completely. I wanted to give him a 1 star, but I held back because I love the his staff and food. Just because he had to make a business decision (not in my favor), I didn't want to mix the 2. Recently, a girlfriend invited me to dinner. When she said "Let's meet at Zendejas!"! The memories of why I never went back, came back. I didn't want to tell my friend, "Oh, I don't wanna meet there because of what Tony did" I know it would sound ridiculous. Plus, I'm not one to hold grudges. Life goes on... and so we went. This place was not busy on a Thursday, drinks were not good , service was terrible, food came out cold ! Do not order their shrimp pallela plater $45.00 and the shrimp that should be warm or hot were cold , the cheviche portion was slimy , when I told them about it they were offended, they nuked it in the microwave, was so gross, there was 2 other tables and they acted like they were so busy then disappeared! This is a very popular location. There is dancing at this location. Dancing is Currently outside due to Covid restrictions. There is a lot of available parking in the shared lot. The margaritas and nachos were very good. The bartender was very distracted even though there were very few people sitting at the bar . It was only 5pm on a Saturday. My friend asked for a margarita on the rocks no salt and I asked for a blended mango margarita. My friend got salt and I got a strawberry margarita. Our group of friends end up here once a month, knowing that we have to get here early if we want to have a long visit. Any and all important conversation has to be dealt with immediately. Once the party atmosphere is in full swing come 9:00 pm, even if you're sitting in the farthest corner of the restaurant - you can't even hear yourself. Other than that - from open until 9:00 pm, the ambiance and music is quite good. Our service has always been fantastic, with the exception of holidays or when they're having events. You can usually count on your waitress to consistently swing by to check on your table and bring you what your need. However, if it's a holiday or an event, it's really hit or miss. Our food has always been good with the exception being the Chile Relleno. It has been ordered twice by someone in our party and it's been cold and hard each time. Otherwise, the food is always delicious! Tip: Bring cash. You're charged a fee for paying with card. The fee will depend on the total of the bill. We've learned the hard way. read more

Thought Zendejas would've been a great place to watch the Rams/Bills game last Sunday but when we arrived we went straight to the back to see the game on the big screens but maybe we made a mistake.. a waitress brought us menus and said she's not our waitress and that our waitress will be here to take our order. LOL we waited 15 minutes and no one came so we went up to the bar to get our drinks and asked the bartender if we can order some food but another mistake LOL the bartender said only if we were sitting at the bar she could only serve us food. I told her there isn't any waitress working in the back where we were sitting and all she could say is someone called off today. So the service was horribly bad bad and as I looked around waiting for our drinks I can see the owner hanging out with some other patrons looking kinda inebriated with not a care in the world LOL however the waitress who gave us the menus was walking around so I asked her again if she could take our order and she said yes that now she is working the whole back area LOL so we ordered some Chicken Wings which were really good. The service was really really bad bad and for being a Rams Sports bar it sucked sucked.. I work too hard to spend my hard earn money on a place that could care less on showing respect for its patrons and the Rams reputation..
