It is decorated with relaxation in mind for the client and I always have a warm welcome from the massage therapist I am seeing. The sheets and blanket are so soft and fresh. The bed is already warmed up for me because they know that is how I like it. The therapist always takes time and is sincerely interested in doing their best to address all my needs. I always wish the massage could go on longer because it feels so good! It is my happy place and I love all the the therapists!

Very good pressure, great technique, and methodical in working all areas this first go around. She offered to focus if needed and really listened when I discussed what I was looking for. I left feeling both energized and relaxed at the same time. The only thing lacking for me is the opportunity for Reiki, which I like to have as well, but otherwise an awesome experience.

The ambiance is tired but appears clean and functional. The three stars is for the ambiance and brought down by the thin walls and lack of apparent situational awareness by other employees. Partway into my 60 min relaxing messaging a conversation started somewhere in the area that was so muffled none of the words were apparent but loud enough to know it was two people talking and laughing. Extremely distracting from the quiet and calm I've always experienced in other spa locations. No, I didn't say anything to Melanie because it seems if it was uncommon she would have made a comment and at least apologized. The fact she didn't makes me think perhaps she is used to it. After getting there and getting into a room which was nice and clean, I was ready for my massage but she wasn't quite ready for me. The massage started about five minutes late which is no big deal because most places will make that up at the end by going over the amount of time they started late. Soon after she started with the massage her phone rang in the lobby. She answered it and talked about 4 or 5 minutes to a potential client. She came back in and started to massage again then she received a text. She left to answer that. She returned to finish the foot she started and moved over to the other foot. As I was telling her about some issues with this foot and where it was really painful, she got another call. I looked at my watch and noticed she was gone five minutes with this call. When she came back I informed her again about the problem area which she glossed over and went through her routine of just a basic massage to fill time. At the end of the one hour she promptly said that it's been one massage done. I did give her a small $5 tip in spite of the fact that I only received about 40 to 45 minutes of an hour massage and she didn't address the issues I was hoping to get looked at. I will not return.
