Infrastruktur und Angebot in der Zentralbibliothek sind meines Erachtens sehr gut. Man erreicht die Bibliothek sehr gut mit ÖPNV (Haltestelle Neumarkt). Insbesondere Ratgeber (z.B. Bewerbungsbücher) sind vielfältig und auch aktuell vorhanden. Aus meiner Sicht sind allerdings die Öffnungszeiten ein Manko. Für eine so große Stadt wie Köln hätte ich mir längere Öffnungszeiten gewünscht diese sind aktuell wie folgt (Quelle: Homepage, Stand heute, 8.10.2012): Montag, geschlossen; Dienstag und Donnerstag, 10 bis 20 Uhr; Mittwoch und Freitag, 10 bis 18 Uhr; Samstag, 10 bis 15 Uhr. read more

Die Zentral-Bibliothek ist, wie der Name schon sagt, sehr zentral! Seit sie auf Automaten umgestellt haben, gibt es kaum noch Schlangen bein Ausleihen oder bei der Rückgabe. Ich kann mich noch gut an die sehr langen Schlangen Samstag mittags erinnern... Die Auswahl ist sehr gross, auch an DVDs und an Zeitschriften. Den Online-Service werde ich demnächst mal antesten und dann hier berichten, scheint abber auch recht interessant zu sein. read more
