My family and I ended up here kind of by accident. We were driving from Toronto to Winnipeg and we were winding down for the day but apparently because it was bear season ( I think) there was literally no vacancies anywhere until we found this motel.
So the rating is mainly for the wonderful front desk who reserved a room for us on the phone as we were desperately looking for a place to settle down.
The room however is average. Everything is quite old and worn. It's pretty much a place where you come to stay the night then go on your way. Interesting enough the smoking section is through a big set of double doors so if you're room is close enough you can hear it open and close throughout the night as people come and go.
They do have free continental breakfast though so that's a plus I guess.
It's also cheaper than the first motel off the highway so there's that. If you need a place to sleep and this is the town you're stuck in I would choose this one. read more
