They said that after each scenario, I was called and that I rejected their proposal, which triggered another proposal. I was not called ONCE, let alone 4 times. Sadly, my assumption that the customer service and professionalism I experienced with Cuccia Accounting would be comparable was a mistake on my part. Knowing we had to file an extension was understood. However, what my husband and I can't understand is the office's inability to provide an estimated timeline for when our taxes would be reviewed. After calling at the end of April to confirm if all appropriate tax documents were received I was informed it would be May until any customer's paperwork who filed an extension would be reviewed. Now at the beginning of May, I called again to learn the same things. First, had all the appropriated documents been reviewed, and second, was there an estimated time of review and or completion? I was informed again that due to the fact, we needed to file an extension, our paperwork is yet to be reviewed and then, it would be reviewed on a first-in basis. I was also informed that if Mr. Stropes would need to take the time to only review the documents, he then might as well complete them, which is why those answering calls would not be able to provide an estimated time of review or completion. From what I am left to understand, Mr. Stropes is too busy to speak to clients personally, and because we needed to file an extension, we were left to wait an undetermined period for our papers to be even reviewed and or filed due to extensions being valid until October. In all fairness, I was not left to believe we would need to wait until October, however, there was still no adequate ability to provide any timeline at all. Due to the ambiguity of completion of our taxes, and the inability to learn helpful facts, I have realized that the office of Stropes Accounting is nothing like its predecessor Cuccia Accounting. My experience with Cuccia Accounting was all but friendly, informative, helpful, efficient, and professional. I am unable to say the same for Stropes Accounting. Perhaps Mr. Stropes is efficient in processing past/current clients, however, as a new client, my experience has not been any of this. The inability to communicate a timeline of any sort is not acceptable in my professional role, and if I told a client that I could not do so, I would be looking to update my resume and look for a new job. I caution those who are a new customer of Stropes Accounting to use the services of this office based on this experience. For those who disagree with my review, I am happy that your experience has been better than mine. We have requested our paperwork to be returned to us so we may find an office that can provide an overall comprehensive customer experience.

By simply doing her job well, Attorney Leaf distinguished herself immediately. The difference in preparation, responsiveness, and resourcefulness in court was obvious. Although Attorney Leaf treated the "other side" with courtesy and respect, and always conducted herself in a dignified manner, the difference in caliber between Attorney Leaf and opposing counsel was unmistakable. She takes the time to understand not just your legal position, but what you're actually trying to accomplish. She doesn't make you feel like a "case," like billable time, or like she's got more important things to be doing. She treats you like a human. She's also mindful that her time is your money and makes every interaction count. I personally observed that Attorney Leaf stepped in and pinch-hit for my other GRGB attorney. She's got people's backs. I had been pro se for almost four years, with the exception of two short appearances by attorneys that made my situation worse. I have no doubt that if I had been represented by Attorney Kristin Leaf from the beginning, I would be in a much stronger position in family court today. Most people "don't have the money" to spend on a lawyer, me included, but if it comes to spending money you don't have, better to spend it on someone who will work hard to get the outcomes you need-and who has a responsive, supportive, hard-working team-than on a budget attorney who doesn't truly listen or prioritize you. That's the one thing I appreciated most about Attorney Leaf. She listens--even when she probably already knows the answer. Even when your thinking is off track. Even when you're discussing something the court can't fix. She listens first, then works with you to identify the path forward. Attorney Leaf has clearly invested in becoming an exceptional attorney, and it shows in every interaction. GRGB is lucky to have her. Retain her before the other side does! I am also represented by another GRGB attorney in a criminal matter. As that case progresses, I expect to update this review to reflect that experience as well. That said, if you need representation on multiple legal fronts, that's yet another advantage of retaining this firm.

I initially telephonically spoke with RPB partner Brad Voght, who wound up working with me. His promises were all kept and I was very pleased with the professionalism both he and his staff afforded me. I found Brad to be a no-nonsense-cut-to-the chase, efficient and tenacious CPA. Subsequent to the completion of this year's tax return, Brad informed me that, during a review of my 2021 tax returns in preparation for the 2022 tax return, he discovered a major error and asked me if I wanted to file an amended return, which I happily agreed to. The fee for this was reasonable and resulted in a substantial refund for a portion of the taxes I paid that year. It goes without saying that I highly recommend RPB.
