The main reason I came here is that the entire menu is half price. So onto the food, I had a sample plate expecting a few items to open up the appetite. I was given a gigantic buffet type plate with litterally everything you can imagine on it. Garlic bread, tomato and mozzarella (4 big slices), bruschetta, chicken wings, egg rolls, nacho chips with melted cheese, onion rings, potato and tzatziki, and a full salad. The bread was the same stale one put on the table and most of the items were barely warm. I don't mind quantity but the food made no sense being put together. Even my visits to buffets consists of items that are somehow related. I was dreading the mixed plate I ordered as a main dish, but was stunned at how good their meat was. It consisted of a pork, chicken and filet mignon all for €10. Everything was so tender and juicy I could not believe it came from the same kitchen. The decor was hilarious and I honestly had no clue if it's intentional or not. There were gigantic chandeliers and above it a representation of the ceiling of the Sistine chapel. There were some country western saloon elements like a bison head on a wall as well as a Napolitano pizza oven. They have a gigantic menu and the prices are more than fair so it's a worthwile experience overall, especially if a group wants to eat different things. It took a while to get there and I am SO glad I did. Walking in the owner lady was obviously very busy with the service, but she made sure to stop and welcome me and get me to a table right away. The smell that one is hit with as you enter will give you the smile you know that will come with great Indian food. After looking over the excellent menu offerings, I opted for the duck (ente) tikka. It was sizzling at it hit the table and the only bad thing is that I had to let it cool off just a bit before jumping it. A painful wait. But that said, I absolutely loved it. The duck was perfectly cook and the spice combination was excellent. Just great all the way around. And the owner came by several times to check on me and I know why she is smiling all the time, because everyone is killing what they serve. Well worth the effort to get there.

Fresh ingredients sourced from a private farm and prepared with care and artistry make for surprisingly delicious meal. At other restaurants you might expect to pay 1.5 or 2x for this quality of food, but the unpretentious setting and the nature of the business (which supports youths with handicaps and trains them in the kitchen) means you get your money's worth and more. We started with a pumpkin soup which was so fresh it felt like it had been a pumpkin minutes before it was served. For our mains I had a delicious pork knuckle (a must when visiting Berlin) and my wife had the duck. Somehow pork knuckle, sauerkraut, pea mash and mustard were made *much* better than the sum of their parts. The duck was similarly extraordinary. We finished the meal with a lemon tart with a beautiful plating and equally wonderful set of flavors. If you're near the HBF, don't miss it!

Pounded paper thin and fried to a perfect golden brown, the meat is tender and hardly needs any knife work. Do not forget the warm cabbage, fried potatoes, and sauerkraut! Regardless of what you end up eating, portions are generous and everything is made as if it were from your own Oma's kitchen.

It's a pretty expensive buffet. I believe you pay by weight. The dining area is gorgeous with high ceilings and very spacious. Come here for a delicious meal!
