Absolutely love this place! The food is amazing! Portion sizes are worth every penny. The special lemonades and cool aids have me walking down there everyday after work lol the staff are so kind! I recently Tried Ziggy Street Eats (Norfolk location) for the first time after seeing all the raving reviews online. I ordered ahead for pickup, but when I arrived, I wasn't greeted, and the lady at the counter wasn't very friendly or welcoming. I ordered the chicken and rice since it's a popular item. When I got home, it looked and smelled amazing, so I was excited to dig in. But after the first bite, I was surprised--it lacked the bold flavor I was expecting based on reviews. Honestly, it reminded me of a Michelina's teriyaki chicken meal. I'm hoping this was just an off day, and I'd be open to trying it again--probably at the Portsmouth location next time. read more

Ooh let's talk about the newest restaurant to move into this location, Ziggy's Streat Eats. It's so nice to see this business expand from being a food truck outside on Granby Street to now having their 2nd brick & mortar location in Hampton Roads. I've been wanting to try them out for a while (especially since they blew up on TikTok) and they did not disappoint. It was packed inside; the most packed I've ever seen inside this space (when it was in previous restaurants), so I knew the food was gon be fye It also smelled amazing and I had no idea what to get since it was my first time. Rob, whom I'm assuming is the owner, was super nice and recommended that we get the rice bowl with everything in it and he even let my friend and I each get an order of their jerk chicken eggrolls on the house. I really appreciated that, I can tell that Rob values customer service. BAYBEEEE the food was bussin'! They seasoned their food DOWN! There was so much seasoning on the rice bowl that it got on the outside of the box. I loved both the eggrolls and the rice bowl. Additionally, I usually have to ask for extra sauce on the side when I order food, but here their food already comes with plenty. Rob even checked on my friend and me to ask how the food was, and I had to let him know that he secured a regular and that I was going to tell all my friends, and the good people on Yelp about this spot, so run don't walk to Ziggy's Street Eats if you're looking for some GOODT seasoned food! read more

Terrible service. Paid for my food and they said it didn't go through. I then show them my digital receipt and said they couldn't do anything but try to cancel it. But my money was already taken. They ended up giving me the food I paid for over 20 minutes later saying it went through later, I guess. I literally could've left, lost my money and had no food. Only stayed cuz my ride didn't want eat here and left and my brother was with me too. And even after all that still couldn't get an apology or clarification on the issue. Not it! read more

yeah, it was a no for me. The fruit inside of my strawberry pineapple drink was not fresh. It's been sitting there for a while. It had a transparent look for how long The pineapple was already shredding itself from being submerged in the liquid for so long my chicken sandwich taste like in grease with all the other different stuff that was chicken I can taste was grease. The food is visually appealing but the sauce on it is just waaaay too sweet and there's soo much of it I couldn't get away from it. Sucks bc I typically like sauce but it's not balanced at alll. Exceptional Cajun-American food that is downright addictive! Whether it's the crab cake sandwich, shrimp tacos, or the all-meat rice bowl, every dish is a winner. And if you're lucky enough to catch one of their specials--ORDER IT! We once stumbled upon a Lobster Roll special, and it absolutely did not disappoint.
