The face-to-face instruction consisted of watching videos and independent work. When she missed a class for a school event , we had to pay $20 for every makeup class. You want to know what she did in those makeup classes? Watched videos and online work - something she could have easily done at home. To top it off, after the permit test, the students were not given their permit card. We had to wait until the parent meeting which was help in Onalaska. I'm sorry but why make us travel, on a Saturday, to Onalaska? Many of us work weekends. It's grad party season, wedding season. Why not have the parent meeting as part of the regular classes? It doesn't make any sense. And none of this was explained before signing up. I'm happy I am done with EDI but for those of you who are considering it - just don't.
