As always, Zing staff have assisted me wonderfully, many times when I didn't understand the situation very well.

I'm not a Zing (formerly Denver Community Credit Union) member, but their new office now includes an art gallery, so I stopped by to check out the current show. The Zing headquarters location was closed for an extended period as they consolidated their facilities in the Golden Triangle, but reopened in mid-2024 as a single building incorporating all of their functions. There's now a large parking lot which even includes covered parking spots, drive up banking and an ATM, plus a main building with a full-service, main branch, workspace, community space, executive offices, a training room, meeting rooms, the lounge, a leasable second floor, and the new art gallery. The gallery fits into a small area to the left of the entrance. A series of movable partitions, currently placed diagonally to the front windows, provide extended display space with good lighting. This little gallery is a nice addition to the other arts amenities in the Golden Triangle area. read more

Very non-customer non-business friendly. Since they switched over to Zhang, it's giving me a few problems with old direct deposit and I just went in for a simple loan and they said they didn't have any bankers there which is odd for bank and that I needed to have a months worth of check stubs in my pocket while I'm applying for a loan so I just left because I don't know who in today's society is carrying around a months worth of check stubs but if anybody knows What checks are getting deposited, it would be them my bank regardless of check steps they could simply look into the checking account and see the deposit read more

As a new member of Zing trying to set up my loan autopay, I was baffled trying to figure it out on the website, so I called. Heath was extremely helpful and walked me through the whole process. He was very patient, friendly and understanding, giving me additional, useful details and tips about my account and how to work with the system. Zing is very fortunate to have Heath, an outstanding employee with a wonderful manner and customer service. Heath gets five stars. My only criticism of the whole experience was being on hold for a very long time -- probably 30 minutes! -- before someone could help me. This is the worst bank I have ever used. They are SO rude and unhelpful. Once you make an account it is virtually impossible to do anything with it or get help without coming in person. They are SO unkind and condescending, especially if you call in. Apparently a lot of people try and commit fraud here because it is SO hard to do anything to your account and they won't help you. Your social security number, your address, etc all are not enough for them to verify you. They make you fill out a form only a manager can review and then ITS A SECRET how, when, AND if you'll be followed up with. They have 0 customer service and the worst banking experience I've ever had. They talk to you like you're a moron and are not helpful at all and have the most secretive and convoluted policies of any banking institution I've ever used. It does not get any worse than this, folks. And I say this as a member for over 12 years. I was denied for a home loan in 2014, with lots in my account, still bought the house (but with another bank), and my debit was "robbed" 3 times in 2015 alone. I had to fill out line-by-line of charges made to my account from different locations all over the country, simultaneously. THREE TIMES in a year. We were the last institution on the planet earth to get chips in our cards, as well. Now, no one even answers the phone for easily 30 min, then put you on hold, then the line disconnects. I don't even know how what they get away with is even legal. I get locked out of my online account every single time I try to log in. This bank is the stuff of nightmares. Those 5 star reviews are either paid, or staff. No way they can be genuine. This place has deteriorated massively. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I pay every other bill I have out of the same account and it is ONLY a problem with Zing. Every single month my payment gets returned, every single month I spend an hour or more on the phone with them being assured that "the problem is fixed this time" and guess what? today I get ANOTHER CALL saying that my payment failed. FOR THE SIXTEENTH MONTH IN A ROW!!!! How many times do I need to reenter my bank account or debit card information for Zing to GET THEIR S*** TOGETHER. None of their representatives have any idea what's going on and tell me something different every time. I cannot wait to NEVER deal with this institution ever again. read more

The incompetence of the staff is baffling. Do not waste your time and go to a bank where they can actually help you. A staff member reached out to me after my review and her message sounded as she felt I did not know what I was talking about. There is a big difference between deposits being Federally insured and a Credit Union being a Federal Credit Union. I am no expert in the banking field, but I know this much. Gees! As for holds being placed on electronic deposits, I complained to the Credit Union about this and when I got no response, I complained to the State Banking Commision, which then forwarded my complaint to the Credit Union. I then received a letter from the Credit Union that stated the payor wanted it this way. So I reached out to the payor and they said they have no such policy. As for the Credit Union Members having a say in the name change, there was never a vote of any kind. The staff member who reached out to me said that some kind of survey was done, but I never heard anything about it. I am a long time member. I was recently the victim of fraud and I did everything right, as far as I know, I immediately called Zing, got a new card and let them know the name of the Merchant my card was used at. It was OUT OF STATE... these people made it as hard as possible to get this process done. They told me to call the merchant, I did. They told me to call Visa, I did. Visa said Zing should have closed the card for fraud... this has happened to me before and I am now convinced that Zing is not as safe as they claim. Zing CU has been my go-to banking institution for over 30 years. Most recently, Adam was wonderful with clearing up a hold on some funds in my account and re-activating a couple cards. This saved me so much hassle! Of course, the reason those things were in place to begin with has everything to do with account security, which I greatly appreciate. I've been a business banking member for more than a decade. In the past year, the phone-based customer service has gone downhill. The experience is either great or terrible depending on the agent you get. Two different agents gave me incorrect information and had a rude attitude. One out of five stars review. I'm on hold with them right now, been waiting for about 1/2 hour before they picked up the phone. When the did they put me back on the hold, so far its been well over another 15 minutes. they finally came back on line and put me back on hold again. The Lady that served me is TARA. The first time they answered the phone today they insisted that I came in to their office/branch. However the nearest one is under construction. The total time of this phone call is about 1 hour and I'm still on hold. :-( read more

My Credit card percentage is set, I've had a car loan, etc. Called Customer Service today - talked w/ Heath * Concern about a false bank text (extremely helpful) and a simple Money Market question. * Heath mentioned the 5% CD rate special promotion and we set two up (one converted - one new one) over the phone. WOW fast and easy. * More than great telephone service from him. Phone Support Calls Turn on your speakerphone and continue doing stuff around the house whenever you're on hold. I am going to be withdrawing all of my funds from this credit union as soon I get my money credited back to my account. They have horrible customer service. I am particularly annoyed because I have been working on some disputes with fraudulence with this credit union for nearly 3 months. I have been hung up on by 2 of their employees - and sent e-mails to both of these staff - and did not receive a response. I contacted the branch manager next, but did not get a response. I liked Denver Community Credit Union (DCCU), but since they changed their name to Zing, service has been horrific. They are short staffed and there is no follow-through whatsoever from staff. Very unprofessional. The hold time to talk with a staff member at the branch is at least 10 minutes on average. It took waiting on hold for 30 minutes each time I called billpay to reach a representative the third time (the first 2 times I had to hang up because I was working). Their outside sourcing of their billpay service is ridiculous. If I knew that this was going to be the case I never would've signed on with them. Can't wait to find a new credit union. read more

I've been a member with this credit union before he became zoom for over 10 years. The moment I talk to Brenda trying to reconcile my account she told me another phone call was way more important than mine, and then hung up the phone. They've locked my account so many times, she told me one number last week and then turned around and told me another number this week. Which results to me having to close my account because they're trying to charge me double the amount. read more

I had them for my car loan. First, they told me that I needed to have an account in order to have a loan there. Then they charged my credit card $10 just because it wasnt through. Finally, I made my car payment and it was set up on two different platforms. When I got it refunded back into my external account because it was doubly paid, they then made my bank go into the negative and are requiring me to pay it back when it wasnt my fault.
