Which is no slight as such, but we'd rather be transported to a little corner of Italy, which is precisely what Zio Piero does. Tucked away just off the main street, the interior keeps things traditional and almost quaint, which is an important facet of a general experience that quietly exudes family restaurant vibes. The standard of food is solid if unremarkable, albeit maybe not sufficient to convince anybody they're somehow in Rome. But then the Italian capital is full of touristy eateries churning out poor replicas of their national dishes.
