He's a brilliant expository preacher, whose Scripture-saturated messages are both intellectually stimulating and eminently practical. The music is led by a large worship leading choir and orchestra, with a rhythm-driven sound. We sing a good mix of modern hymns (Keith & Kristyn Getty, Matt Boswell, Travis Cottrell, etc); newer songs from groups like Vertical Church Band, Austin Stone Worship, and Rend Collective; and in-house arrangements of the greatest hymns from church history. One of the most notable things about FBCP is the emphasis on missions, both local and foreign. This is a church that loves to proclaim the gospel far and wide! We sincerely hope you'll join us for worship at 10:30am and 6:00pm each Sunday. LifeGroups meet at 8:45am. Full disclosure: I am the Worship Pastor at FBCP, which obviously leads to a little bit of bias in my review, but I can also speak to you as a recent guest.
