Oscar made an appointment and I waited at home for him for a half hour. He never showed up and did not message me to let me know. When I finally wrote him and asked what was happening, this was his response. "good afternoon.I apologize a thousand times, and the truth is I forgot. I'm usually very punctual. If you could see me tomorrow at any time, I'd appreciate it." Very disappointing when hoping to hire someone to help with some electrical work.

The drawback to that is there are so many options and choices - the sky (and your budget) is really the limit - so at times the process can be a bit daunting. Just come prepared and ask lots of questions. We really appreciate the quality of the finished product as well. Before selecting MK, we considered a few of the big box builders. We were quite surprised that one of them (Ivory Homes) did not include central A/C in their base price. MK included central A/C, cemented crawl space, thicker exterior walls, higher grade windows, etc. in its initial pricing. Mike Klauck Construction has also been very good about following up with the minor issues we noticed after closing. Their warranty/servicing department has been responsive, conscientious and has not had to come back a second time for any issues they have resolved.
