Ordered the garlic bread with cheese 7.95 Veal parm with the homemade pasta he recommended at 3 bucks up charge. 1st : garlic bread was a sub roll cut down middle with cheese minimal on it... no garlic taste, no green parley flakes ... not worth 7.95. Veal parm shows... the sauce looks clumpy and not fresh... reheated from a tub or something from previous day or week? Awful Veal Patty breaded again cooked previously, maybe was microwaved as breading falling off the cutlet . Pasta looked fresh but fresh when... a week ago? Didn't seem fresh like I ordered elsewhere. 27 bucks for this... bad decisions end with bad consequences I have been schooled. I eat in the North end weekly , Bella Costa, Giacomo's also up the street from Zitis ... Just had a veal parm at Bella Costa few days prior. These are North end prices for Bertuccis quality or Olive Garden . At least a good salad at Olive Garden... Sorry ; bad meal, bad value, I don't see returning. At first I was skeptical but the friendly attentive service turned it around. The basket of bread was a bit lame. The waitress was awesome. Came by many times to make sure we had everything we needed. Then the calamari came. It was so good. It was piping hot and delish. The pizza was amazing. They got the crust right which is the most important part of the pizza. It was a Napoli style. I think I will have to order it again next time. I felt that was unfair , but nothing was done to rectify the pricing . That's a major problem . Personally , I think that should be illegal . Good food, and it came out really fast even though the place was pretty busy. Really great atmosphere, and the servers are really nice. The calamari wasn't exactly to my tastes (I didn't find it crispy enough and the sauce was a bit bland), but the lobster ravioli and caesar salad were excellent. read more

Just 2 of us on a Sunday evening around 7pm. Bartender was also the server. Attentive service with a smile. Very casual decor with a hint of Italy. Food came out quickly and was hot. Both dishes were delicious. Veal scallopini had 2 of the most tender medallions I've eaten. Lots of thin layers of eggplant with the chicken and a generous portion of melted mozz with a tasty marinara sauce. Shakers of red pepper flakes & cheese were readily available. Live nearby and go every once in a while. This will be the last time. I've heard it depends on what brother is working in the kitchen. Place is always dead, tables small and chairs uncomfortable. Food and tomato sauce was off and didn't taste great. Caesar salad had oil dressing on it. The kicker was after we all had three glasses of water each, when we asked for more, the water tasted like toilet water. My daughter threw up when we got home. Whoever came to our table after complaining he gave us bottled water and said that he's been drinking it all day (so did we) and that giving us the bottled water should solve the problem - rudely! Cute little spot about 5 minutes from the Natick Mall. We were seated immediately on a Saturday night, and the service was very friendly, warm, and attentive. I think the drinks could be a little stronger, but we enjoyed our appetizer (fried ravioli) and our main pasta dishes. We were seated right in front of the fireplace, which was so cozy on a cold night. The prices were very reasonable. Sometimes the simple things make all the difference. Particularly on a weather nasty afternoon (but at least we are getting to see some winter...). And so, with pretty decent service, freshly made bread, thick juicy tomato slices (when tomato isn't in season, but they seasoned the slices very well) and just as thick moz and juicy chicken... perfect sandwich. Last time I was consistently getting food from here was over 20 years ago and it was really good. I am proud to say that just recently eating here in the past few months and last week it still remains as a delicious restaurant! It is not the biggest inside to sit down and eat, but it is very quaint and clean. We mainly go to get takeout, but it is some of the best Italian takeout you will ever have! Their giant raviolis have not changed, and they are still delicious and filling! The pizzas are absolutely phenomenal and flavorful! Hands-down, they have the best bread anywhere! You will not find better bread, anywhere else but here. They give you tons of bread whether it's the regular kind or if you wanna order garlic bread they are so delicious and fresh! Seafood pasta dishes are really well done as well as all of their other items on the menu! If you are looking for great Italian food look no further and come here! This is clearly a family run place. It is tucked away in a residential area. They're outside. Seating is beer bounds but pleasant. Food selection is good. There is nothing special although the pizzas did look amazing. I had veal which was adequate. Their salads were also adequate at best. I tried Ziti's in Natick last night for dinner and was very impressed. I had the chicken Marsala with ziti and marinara as a side. It was delicious and the portions were great. I also had the bruschetta appetizer which was fresh and very tasty. The servers were sure to clear empty plates. Everything was nice and hot. My friend had a very large bowl of chicken broccoli and ziti. She enjoyed it very much. We were stuffed when we left. All of that with prices that are more reasonable than most other places. I used to come here with my famil to enjoy gnocchi in a fresh Italian atmosphere and great service.

The good: fast food, fresh pasta had a good texture. The bad: two consecutive high chairs were broken to the point they were unsafe. The first had a broken strap and the second literally fell apart as our 9mo old sat in it (2 wooden cross beams fell off the chair). The staff didn't seem to care much and just put them back in the corner with the other high chairs for the next unsuspecting customer. Pretty appalling for a restaurant that caters to families. Service was generally good/quick, but we didn't see our server again after getting the food (we ran out of water halfway through). Aside from the fresh pasta, the food was not great. The sauces were watery/lacked flavor, the chicken parm was a bit soggy, and within 15-30 mins after leaving we both had a bit of a tummy ache (we generally have strong stomachs). Bit sad as we hoped this would be a good place to bring kids for the years to come (there was a party of 9 with kids being seated as we left), but unlikely we will be back. read more

We ordered Capri salad ..Fresh crispy greens and delicious mozzarella with perfect amount of dressing. The home made garlic bread. Crispy crust with a soft inside .Garlic pops nicely. Eggplant parm with Linguini. Eggplant was perfect. Not greecey. Tender and lightly bread. The sauce is a very nice taste. Not sweet just enough herbs. I highly recommend Ziti. Rather let down. The pesto tasted like it had been sitting for while and and basil was going bad. Extremely oily on the tortellini Spicy Marinara Ziti tastes like a cardboard box with jalapeño. Based on some good Yelp reviews we decided to try this local favorite for a family style Italian dinner. It's tucked away on a back road, but definitely popular with the locals. It's a friendly, warm, great smelling little place. Comfortable, just a little dark and where you're treated like you're from the neighborhood, even if you're just visiting like we were. Once we navigated the strange parking set up (you park across the way and down a hill), we walked in and were instantly greeted and seated by a very polite and friendly young man by a window in sight of a busy bar and a couple of TVs with the Ryder Cup and the Red Sox on... Good start. We were greeted by the barman who got our order going in short order. We got pasta and meatballs and tortellini and meatballs with some garlic bread. The food came out quickly and piping hot. Steaming. The second thing that struck us is that while many restaurants are trying to cut corners and go light on the sauce, Ziti's comes heavy, just like at family dinners. The garlic bread was crusty and well prepared with more than ample (too much for us, actually) basil on top. It wasn't exceptionally enjoyable, mostly tasteless. But, as was the case with all the food here, there was plenty of it for the price. The star of the show was some great tortellini in that homemade sauce. Terrific. Cooked perfectly. Tasty. A real highlight. The two baseball sized meatballs were good as well, but the tortellini was exceptionally tasty with a great flavor profile. My daughter enjoyed the ziti as well. Al dente and perfectly cooked. Overall it was a really great experience. Super friendly hosts, great service, lots of nice, homemade food at reasonable prices. First and last time at this restaurant. The service was so slow and there were only a few tables full. Finally the server came took the drink order and we ordered a Cesar salad and garlic bread for an appetizer. Salad came with Italian dressing and garlic bread was burnt. Server didn't tell us about any specials but we saw them on a chalkboard in the corner. We asked for bolganaese on pasta but they said they couldn't do that because the chicken parm you can only get marinara. Interesting because the marinara was placed in a small white bowl on the side of the pasta so not sure why they couldn't of substituted bolganaese even if we had to pay for an upcharge, we would of been happy to do so. Chicken parm was very good along with the home made pasta. Lobster and steak ravioi special was more fatty steak and little lobster. Ordered a grey goose cosmo but they stated they only have flavored liquor, so switched to a raspberry lemon martini which ok. The bartender was serving tables and bartending at same time therefore, it took a long time to get drinks or a server to take our order. Server never came back until we were done eating asking if we needed anything else. When we asked for dessert he said they had cannot and maybe lava cake and then yelled from the table to the kitchen and asked what they had. There was a table of 4 next to us in the line of fire. The hostess came and cleared half the table and brought the check. The Cesar salad we send back was never taken off so we sent check back for the adjustment. She brought back change and new check and cleared rest of table. I was putting tip together and she came back again and grabbed the tip and check while we were still sitting there and brought it to the bartender who was not our server and they started to count the tip. We left 15% even though it was a terrible experience. Typically servers wait until you leave to grab and count the tip. The restaurant itself was dingy and dirty and the table rocked back and forth. The window sills had crumbs and dried food on them. We were extremely disappointed and do not recommend this restaurant. read more
