Great lunch stop!…read more Fantastic food, strong coffee, delightful and attentive staff. The cafe is comfortable and beautifully decorated. You can tell the owners love what they do. There is a partnership with a Dutch brewery to make the Brownie and Blond beers. We accidentally ordered a brownie (baked good) when trying to order a brownie (beer.). Both are good choices! My koffie came with whipped cream and little chocolate covered papernoten (crispy gingerbread bites). Like they say here, puur is perfect.

On sunny days they have a pretty big terrace outside with excellent service. This cafe is too small for a kitchen, but luckily they have a deal with a restaurant close by so you can order very tasty snacks. Great for a hangout with friends!

Not entirely full during lunchtime on Saturday, I sit down at one of the tables inside. You can also sit outside. After a few minutes, the waitress takes my order. I choose the sandwich that bares the name of the restaurant. After about fifteen minutes, it arrives (see picture). A tiny piece of bread with one slice of cheese, one slice of salami and some pesto. For almost 5 Euro. In a town that is not exactly a metropole. Real tasty, but after about 90 minutes I was ready for my next sandwich.
