I am sharing this because I sought help repeatedly and did not feel heard or adequately protected…read more In December 2025, a male member of the DT made an explicit, unsolicited sexual comment to me regarding sexual acts and anatomy, including where he would "put his penis." The comment was unwanted, inappropriate, and made me extremely uncomfortable. I made another DT member aware of what happened because I was seeking help navigating an uncomfortable situation. Her response was, "What do you want me to do about it?" I then spoke privately with the campus pastor over coffee. When I explained what had happened, the first response I received was, "He went through a lot as a child." Regardless of his past experiences, I needed the focus to be on the behavior I was reporting and on helping me feel safe. After a meeting with 5 others,myself and the campus pastor in April 2026, the unwanted comments and advances continued. During the last week of July 2026, I again went to the campus pastor's office and explained that the behavior was continuing. I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously or that meaningful action was taken. I followed what I understood to be the biblical process for seeking help on three occasions. When those efforts did not resolve the situation, I ultimately decided that I could no longer serve on the DT because I did not feel comfortable continuing to put myself in that environment. I am disappointed that, rather than feeling supported after repeatedly raising concerns about unwanted sexual behavior, I have felt as though I became the problem for setting a boundary and stepping away. I am sharing my experience because people deserve to be able to raise concerns about unwanted sexual comments or advances without being dismissed, blamed, or called "drama" to continue participating in an environment where they do not feel safe, seen or heard. #LCVA #LifePointCulpeper #LifePointChurch

When I called the…read morechurch I was bombarded and or interrogated questioning in which I was able to provide all questions .. because the gentleman I spoke to did not believe that my house burnt down four days ago ... this gentleman continuously kept telling me that I had to have somebody , friends, family to help me in which I had told him that I did not repeatedly parents were n nursing home etc... he continuously kept digging about past residence of people who I could call repeatedly trying to make it to where that I was un eligible for anything through the church ... I am very disappointed that you have someone in the church that treats people who were asking for helping in prayer like this

My husband finally got around to getting to the office to officially register us in which we were told we could not because we weren't "zoned" for that specific church. I've never heard of this before and we are deeply disappointed as we just had gotten back to being church regulars and our "zoned" church we didn't feel as welcomed. This makes me question a house of God that would turn people away. We've been there attending for 5 months, we are 3 bodies, I don't understand the issue.
