It's a good place to build your creative portfolio while receiving constructive feedback on it. There's also cash prizes that are voted on by the user community. It's free and easy to create an account, you can also upload your artwork right way. I have been on the site everyday since I created an account and I'm getting mostly positive feedback. Good place for students too. read more

Logos and branding (especially really early on in a business) are so personal to the people who started the business and I really felt like the suggestions captured my essence! The intake covered all of the specifics I needed and offered Chalkbox a scope to work with 2. The quoted price was reasonable and along the lines of what I expected to pay for the services 3. Engagement documents were sent quickly and were easy to read, understand, and sign 4. I was given a general timeline and the overall time of the project exceeded my expectations 5. I felt known and seen through the process and felt like all options presented were representative of me and my business from my own perspective but with the importance of design in mind 6. All of the discussions from intake to completion were taken into account to provide the final options - including fonts and colors 7. The final product was delivered in the promised timeframe and is so easy to use along with a guidelines pdf to provide when I need to have my logo used. A little over a week ago, my cat decided to water test my laptop. Long story short, a glass of water spilled into (!) my laptop. The laptop sat immersed in this pool of water for nearly 20 hours. Everything was complete toast. Although most of my files are in the cloud, especially the most important ones, I decided there might be the occasional file or folder that I might not notice tomorrow or even a year from now. I decided it would be best to retrieve the contents of the drive on the laptop for peace of mind. I left the laptop with them to do an assessment first. That assessment was ~$80. After their assessment, they indicated that the contents of the drive were retrievable and gave me an estimate of $400 to retrieve the contents of the drive (the $80 would apply to that figure). I decided it was worth the cost, if for nothing more than that elusive peace of mind. I also needed a drive to put the contents on (or provide my own). Since I didn't have one, and didn't want to bother with purchasing a 3rd party drive, they charged me $140 for a Toshiba Portable Storage device. So, for about $600 (w/ tax) I got everything off the lost drive. Was it worth it? Without a doubt. Would I go back? Hell yeah.

And then you left it there and they fixed it. Now, it's obvious they don't want the local, neighborhood individual with a problem. They make it next to impossible to connect with anyone from just trying to find them on Roosevelt to no one answering the phone when you call them repeatedly just to make an appointment. They couldn't say more clearly, "We don't want you!" Stay away from them, they're not for you.
