She is very positive and her teaching really takes the student to next level where they can shine on the Stage. Reviews are just snapshot of what she does, you really need to take her Vocal lesson to become Better Singer. Here is proof of her one student to whom she assisted to shine. https://fox40.com/2017/11/14/12-year-old-musical-prodigy-plays-44-instruments-practices-6-hours-a-day/

I've sung on teams for years at our church, but when I finally heard myself on YouTube I knew I needed professional help. LOL. What makes Raquela the consummate voice instructor? She has a true depth of understanding of what needs to come together in order to sing well-- the musculature, breathing, psyche. She is also extremely articulate, so she can explain these intricacies to me. An excellent observer, she truly listens to me and watches me sing, providing constructive criticism. Just a glimpse of the level of her expertise-- she was asked to teach lessons in breathing to her fellow Broadway singers!! She cares deeply and is fully committed to the growth of her students, personally invested for sure. Any student who listens to her and works hard will get to the next level. What's more, she's even tech savvy, so she hasn't missed a beat during COVID and is still teaching fabulous lessons through Zoom.

I've been taking lessons with Will for over a year now, and I can honestly say it's been one of the…read morebest decisions I've made. From the very beginning, Will asked what type of music I actually wanted to learn, and that made all the difference. It never felt like a one-size-fits-all experience; it felt personal. Will is incredibly patient, the kind of teacher who never makes you feel rushed or discouraged, no matter where you are in your learning journey. And watching him play? It's an absolute joy. There's something truly inspiring about learning from someone who clearly loves what they do. One thing I truly can't stress enough is how much he emphasizes proper hand positioning. It might seem like a small detail, but it makes a world of difference, and Will makes sure you get it right from the start. By the end of my first year, I had grown confident enough to perform in my very first recital. I've stood in front of people before through my career, but picking up a guitar and performing was a completely different experience, and Will's guidance is what got me there. If you're looking for a guitar teacher who is patient, personable, and genuinely invested in your progress, Will is your guy. Highly recommended! Thanks Appolllo

With Will's very effective Zoom lessons, you can take lessons from anywhere!! I have been taking acoustic guitar lessons via Zoom with Will for 3 years. I previously dealt with many music instructors for my kids, and I wish I had found Will when they were doing lessons. Will is the most patient and excellent instructor, and there is always an important and significant purpose and goal to what he is teaching. He is very experienced both academically and practically. He also teaches me vocal accompaniment and music theory. The Zoom lessons actually work extremely well and I have not found the need to have the lessons in person. I bought a nice Blue Yeti microphone for my laptop for higher sound quality for the listener when I am playing via Zoom.

Eli is a compassionate, patient, and highly skilled teacher. In the 2 group singing classes I took…read morewith him, I watched him engage with people with various skill level and natural talent. He treats every person with respect, and meets them where they're at. I learned a lot from him. Possibly even more importantly than what I learned though, was how much fun I had! It's hard to find wholesome, fun ways to meet folks, and the sweet crowd these classes attract is really something special. I made friends, and even met someone lovely that I dated for a while! Obviously, your mileage may vary, but I hear a lot of stories like that from his students. If you are looking for a way to intensely focus on building mastery of your voice quickly, you should realize this isn't the place for that. You share Eli's brilliance with a dozen or so other people, so your individual time with him is limited. In this case, If you have the funds, I'd suggest taking his class and finding someone else to work with for 1-1 sessions. I've enjoyed seeing a variety of teaching styles doing this in the past. If however, you're wanting to brush up on your skills, are brand new to singing and want to have a compassionate place to learn how to get started, or if you're more advanced and want to be introduced to new skills like learning to write songs or sing with an instrument you're playing... or if you just want a way to meet community that is structured and focused on a fun activity... I would highly recommend Eli's group classes.

Eli is so skilled at creating instant community in his classes. He creates a safe space for us all to be vulnerable with one another. And in some ways - singing and performing in front of others is super scary and requires you to be super vulnerable in order to connect with your performance piece. The creation of this community from the first class allows all of us to immediately feel comfortable with one another so that we can get to work and support each other every step of the way leading up to our concert.

He has such a calm spirit and really has a natural way of teaching. He also has an excellent musical education and background. Our son keeps improving his skills and we owe that to his experience at Music Lab. He also took an interest in guitar and bass. He first started on guitar and then moved to bass lessons. His bass teacher is also incredible. I think he could play and teach just about any instrument. He is very calm and intentional with his lessons. He is another good fit for our son. One of our favorite things about Music Lab, beyond the lessons, are the semi-annual music showcases that they put on for their students and their guests. It's the perfect way to showcase the students' new skills and highlight their growth through the years. The owners, teachers, and staff are all so supportive. Music Lab also puts on great summer camps with fun and talented teachers. Last year, our son did intermediate drum camp, and this year, he tried a musical theater camp. I love that there are so many areas for him to expand his talents! I even got brave and took voice lessons. My teacher was very patient and talented. I learned so much and improved my skills, too. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Music Lab!
