Reservation required! We ventured to Zoubi on a Saturday night after seeing a glimpse of its quaint patio seating. Let me tell you, the menu did not disappoint at all! We started with a round of cocktails (lavender lemon drop + spicy Paloma) and they were excellent. Our appetizers were the Zoubi Caesar, Eggplant Milanese and Buratta dishes, which we all shared. Moderately portioned and beautifully plated. Zoubi is definitely one of those hidden gem places that "feeds" you through visuals. Our main entrees were the 16 oz NY Strip, Crabcake and Salmon. Each dish was impeccable in both taste and visual detail. Sea urchin cream and wasabi caviar danced around my perfectly cooked salmon filet. Dessert was very delicious as well, and our check was accompanied by a few macarons. I would absolutely return to this spot- it's scenery, attentiveness from staff and the chef are all worth the prices they list on their menu.

Does not get much better than this! Alix and the staff were amazing. Second time back and service, decor, food, ambience cannot be topped. You can check out my first review with all the details. This is a perfect restaurant for any occasion. All I can say is make a reservation well in advance, try and you will not be disappointed. Once you come here, you may not want to go anywhere else.

Second time here and the experience gets better every time. I can't say enough about the service, food, and ambiance. Stand outs were the jumbo shrimp and the sirloin steak. Very quaint, eccentric and romantic atmosphere. 0nly complaint is the very limited beer selection, otherwise, Highly recommended.

Hands down the most romantic dinner I've ever had. We were there on July 4th to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The service was fantastic, location and atmosphere was beautiful and romantic and the food perfectly prepared.

In every single way, this was a 5 star experience start to finish. I'll take it a step farther and say this was one of the top five meals I've had in my entire life. Let's start with the space itself- it's honestly just beautiful and incredibly unique. Relaxing but not stuffy and still extremely classy all at once. Our server was amazing - I wish I remembered her name but just down to Earth, super attentive, and just seemed like a person my wife and I would mesh with even if she wasn't on the clock. The food- good lord that rosemary bread is incredible. Short rib and scallop pasta - one of the most unique and flavorful dishes I've ever experienced. My wife loved her steak. Creme brulee was excellent and the carrot cake was even better. I will definitely go back. I'd drive 80 minutes each way from south jersey just to do it honestly. Don't walk here - run..

Carpaccio of Beets Grilled Shrimp Anchovy Butter Ceasar at Zoubi

So it seems like 7-8 months ago something happened with a change in management- do not let that deter you from going. Zoubi is superb. Whatever issue they had has been all worked out. Everything from the food, to drinks, service and ambience was outstanding. Truly, what a special restaurant. We had the kale Caesar, roasted beets, shrimp with anchovy butter, seared tuna and short rib- one thing was better than the next. Often when we've gone to a restaurant that has incredible detail to presentation- you get a tiny meal and leave hungry. The portions here are filling- my biggest gripe was that I was so full I didn't have room for dessert because I know it would have been outstanding like everything else we had. Zoubi is a must if you're in the New Hope area looking for an exceptional meal.

The experience was wonderful. The food tasted better than it looked which is high praise. Even the finger bowl looked cool. It was a very enjoyable evening and I would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

So good that we canceled reservations at another highly recommended restaurant just to eat here twice on our last trip! Smoked oysters, beat salad, soft shell crab special, short ribs, scallops, seared tuna... all very special. Can't miss romantic dinner spot for your next trip to New Hope!

What a cool spot in wonderful New Hope, PA!…read more I loved the outside porch and the inside vibe. Big, colorful lit stars abound, plus cool artwork and flyers for upcoming bands. The stage is a decent size and the band - DIBBS AND THE DETONATORS (Rockabilly music) - we saw were really damned good - got soooo many people up and dancing from song #1 !!! I got to slow dance with my honey to Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game' too :) Can I say that my 80's heart was in absolute heaven?!!! We ordered some apps - very good wings (I'm not a French fry person, but a side came out in a big BOWL!). Some happy patrons with that one! I barely ever drink but the drinks that were ordered, got good reviews. If you know New Hope with the parking . . . it's a bit rough, but I'd rough it and come back in a heartbeat! Havana is the name of the family owned business and their food menu is eclectically inspired. The drink menu features mojitos, martinis, an array of cocktails, a great beer list, a beautiful wine selection, and a full bar. There is something for everyone and the quality is fresh and delicious; we chowed down on the guacamole and nachos and if we could hold our liquor, we would try every one of their mojitos. The outdoor patio was very popular, even on a chilly day when we visited, and now that we've experienced it, we see why. The large space has fun vibes, a TV to watch the game, and has an outdoor bar covered by the ornate roof and an open-air section for some sunshine. We loved that the staff was on top of their game and made sure all the portable heaters were practically placed to keep their patrons comfortable. The bartender was fantastic and attentive too.

We got the last table - a cute place right by the window and it felt like we were outside but without the chill of the autumn air. The ambiance was relaxed with lots of exposed wood and brick and greenery everywhere. Service was good and although food took a little while, it wasn't too long. Husband got a Caesar wrap which he liked. I got the stir fry veggies with rice and I added chicken. The veggies were crisp and plentiful, sauce seemed to be teriyaki. Good chicken. I was so excited to eat it, I forgot the photo! The only problem for me is the rice was fairly scant. I like lots of carbs. If we were just going home, I'd have a snack but we were out of town so I ordered more rice which took a while again. And they gave me a full side order which was too much. But still, all the food was excellent and exactly what I'd wanted.

For this five star review, I want to slightly preface that perhaps a small portion of why my wife…read moreand I had such a splendid experience at The Boat House was because of our timing, but I'll come back to that shortly because regardless of when we were there, I did love so much about this place. Recommended by almost any local you ask, The Boat House sits in the quieter Lambertville side of the bridge that connect this Jersey town to the slightly more bustling New Hope, PA. Down an Edison-lighted alleyway you'll find this small house for boats and ya know, it probably was a house (not sure about for boats) because it's pretty dang small. The night we were there I noticed there's some outdoor tables available, but really the interior downstairs area only fits a handful of folks. The upstairs can hold a bit more and that is where our timing lies. Somehow, we must have been early/lucky enough to hit The Boat House on a Friday evening when everyone was still out to dinner because the very friendly host sat us upstairs where we had the entire place to ourselves for almost our entire time there. Having the space added such an extra vibe to everything, especially because those creaky steps lead up to what really gives The Boat House its name as the ceiling is covered in maritime memorabilia. The walls, book shelves, and eclectic array of tables and chairs also adds to this. People or not, it is a true unique spot. But what really makes the place so great (besides the looks and the friendly staff who never stopped checking in on us) are the drinks. To start, my wife wasn't feeling alcohol and got an Aper-No Spritz which did the trick, though for myself, I dove into the intriguing list of specialty drinks that makes this place worth visiting. Round one was the Rower's Reserve which lists as a Boat House original and is gin-based with Amaro Nonino, sage, and blackberries to create some fantastic flavors. Round two I had to go with a personal favorite (with a twist) in the smoked honey Negroni which tasted exactly as it sounded. There were a bunch of other libations that also sounded intriguing, but that'll have to be for a future visit. Overall, there's a reason people from the area always suggest The Boat House. It's a true old fashioned maritime cocktail bar that gives you all the feels you'd want from a place like this. Perhaps this review is a little tainted in timing, but hey, maybe that'll give you a little motivation to get here on the earlier side and checkout the upstairs area for yourself. No matter if there's people up there or not, it's a good time here. Cheers!
