This time we ordered the chirashizushi, volcano roll, futomaki roll, fried green bean appetizer, vegetable and shrimp tempura appetizer, and spring mix greens salad. The salad dressing was especially good. The fish tasted fresh, the rolls were well made, and the service was friendly and welcoming. This place has a bit of everything! Asian, Italian, Mexican, American... you name it. I'd encourage the restaurant to add a few Indian options as well As a vegetarian, I love that most dishes have a vegan version, you can ask to replace the meat with mock meat. There is also a vegetarian sushi with tofu and cream cheese which slaps! The ambiance is very warm and homey. The wait staff is extremely friendly and make great food suggestions. We went there during holiday season so the decor also was very Christmasy. There is parking around the restaurant, but it can feel tricky to find a good spot. All in all, it's a very modern twist to a food establishment in Northern Kentucky. Do come and try it out. read more

I truly enjoyed our experience here. I was a bit skeptical with the tacos, ramen, and sushi theme but it was nearby so, cool. Now I've got to go back and try the tacos. We had both the spicy seafood ramen and the sushi- the white stripper roll is not to be missed. The MC2 was very good as well. The prices are excellent. Googling ramen places in the Florence area, we ended up here. Zozo's is basically a Tavern that's trying to sell lots of different food items and be a fun community place to hang out. Great location in downtown Burlington and right next to an ice cream place that we finished off at. I was craving ramen, so I had their spicy ramen. Lesson learned. The ramen was good but it was a bit too basic for me. I should have known that when I'm looking for real ramen places, I'm probably not going to find it at a local pub. I was looking for something a bit more authentic with a much better broth. This was idling a bit towards the top ramen noodles though. But it was flavorful enough and it was a good dinner. My new favorite restaurant. This place is described as Asian fusion and it is so unique and I love it. It has Asian Sushi and Mexican on its menu and I wanted to try it all. I ordered the cucumber and avocado sushi it was so fresh and delicious. I also got the beef tacos with cilantro and onions my favorite combination. We got a order of veggie spring rolls crispy and full of flavor. My friend got the fried rice and she was very happy. They also make a yummy amaretto sour. Zozo's and the Brass Ring are right next to each other and connected. The Brass ring wasn't open, but the bourbon list from the brass ring was available to order. First we were greeted as soon as we walked in and we asked if we could sit in the bar area for a more casual experience. The atmosphere was wonderful and we could see back into the kitchen which was immaculately clean! We ordered spring rolls for the table, a sushi roll and chicken fried rice (forgot to photo, because the great conversation with staff). The food top notch! Exactly what we were looking for and then a total grand slam because of the excellent service and the bourbon conversation I had with Alex behind the bar. Came to visit some friends in the Convington area and decided to stop in and give it a try after the rating. The service was excellent, and left nothing to be desired. I wish my wife and I had really enjoyed the food as much. Our table ordered the seafood ramen, it had some spice and decent flavor. The tonkatsu Ramen was really lacking in flavor to me, just hot in temperature. Tried the white stripper and the crab Rangoon rolls, stripper was solid. Had dinner at Zozos. Dining experience was very nice! Waitress was polite and attentive. Prices are great. Had the Pork dumplings and Tempura shrimp apps. Katsu chicken and Salmon for entrees. Yummy stuff! They have a large selection of Bourbon, Wines, Beer. The Bourbon menu says 1oz pour but its more like 2oz. They have a bar area you can dine in or just have a beverage. The historic building was built in 1840 and has a few gas lanterns outside to create a really neat look. The owner Alan is very knowledgeable in the restaurant industry. Service was pleasant and the menu looked delicious. We tried a few things with the sushi being pretty good. Unfortunately the seafood and egg in my ramen were overcooked but the broth flavor was really good. Big portions too. My husband got the curry and it was more on the bland side. We had heard good things about this place since it opened, so my daughter and I decided to give it a try during Quarantine, and carry out. She did the Aloha and Zozo's roll, and I had a spicy tuna roll, a Sunday AM roll, and their seaweed salad. No real complaints about the food. Very tasty, and we scarfed it down like a pack of hungry wolves when we got home. I would have preferred a little more crab on the seaweed salad, but it was really good. Everything is nice, the service is prompt and attentive, the dishes are tasty. I ordered grilled whole squid, which is super delicious and seldom to find in US restaurants and Udon noodle soup, which taste good, but i wish they put more ingredient like shirmp or some green leaf veggie like Bok choy in it. But the soup taste good. Husband ordered fried rice which he say it really good, also the spider roll and jalapeño roll, and wow, the jalapeño is so hot and spicy! I tried one slice, the taste stays in my throat forever.. we end up ordered cheesecake to cover that jalapeño feeling.. haha.. anyone wants a spicy hot roll, try this one! Was really hoping that the food was going to be good as we live close by, but, unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Wife ordered the seafood Raman soup and I had the pho. Well the seafood Raman was just ok. Nothing to write home about but it was spicy. Very little seafood in it.?? Noodles were overcooked. The beef pho was really sad. Please know I cook my own beef pho so I'm spoiled and very knowledgeable about pho. First, the critical beef pho broth was actually bland chicken broth with zero pho flavoring, i.e. no cardamon, garlic, ginger, pepper, cinnamon or clove spices which make a good pho. Sadly I think there was only 2 small pieces of what I think was beef. Couldn't tell sadly. Shouldn't pass this off as beef pho. Also order the shrimp roll. It was just ok. Very little shrimp in the roll, but had lots of veggies in it, which was a good plus . Put some meat in your dishes guys!! Come on!! Did have really good crab ragoons. They were filled with. A flavorful creamy inside and crispy and served hot. Hope they take this as constructive criticism and make some changes at least with these two dishes as I'd like to come back and try again. First time for take out! I grew up in Burlington so i like to support local business, unfortunately I really didn't know what to order. I ordered a deep fried sushi, it wasn't bad. They told me one of their popular dishes is the tacos .. so I chose to get the 4 way tacos as you can see here the hubs didn't eat much ... 2 out of 4. We agreed these were not seasoned much. The adorably historic building matches the cozy, modern interior without an empty seat in the house this evening. The House Salad is my starter at EVERY sushi joint, no matter what. Their House Salad might honestly be the star of my meal. At $5, I wasn't expecting much. What was placed on my table was an art work of gorgeous greens, sliced vegetables and a homemade dressing that I'll be day dreaming about... basically licked the bowl. Already planning when I drive out here for lunch and have it again. Additionally, I enjoyed a Chef Roll (Red Ruby) and Basic Roll (Shrimp Tempura) while dining. What a gem we discovered tonight! I have to admit, I must have driven by Zozo's a dozen times and never thought about going in. From the outside, I assumed it was a bar. (Not that I have anything against bars, but not for dinner. Haha) Tonight we were in Burlington to have an appetizer & drink on the patio at a nearby restaurant we've been to several times, but it was unexpectedly closed. So we wondered down to the corner to check out Zozo's. We were pleasantly surprised! We tried a few appetizers & tacos. It was quick & delicious! The waitress was kind and friendly.
