I'm a huge fan of pizza. From classic pepperoni to unique creations. "What?!! A healthy pizza?! Does it taste like cardboard?", were my initial thoughts about this place at first. ZPizza, "authentic flavors, organic ingredients" - is exactly that. After looking at the menu, I had a problem. What the heck do I order?! It's always hard to choose what to get when most of the menu looks and sounds so appetizing. I ended up ordering the Mediteranian Rustica, mozzarella, feta cheese, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, greek olives, oregano and pili pili oil. It was very tasty. It's not the typical round pie but has the look and feel of a hand-made dough, which has a crispy crust. I don't really like olives but it blended well with the rest of the toppings. I would definitely come back to try more. read more

I always always make a stop to this ZPizza when I am in this shopping center for a slice or two. They sell pizza by the slice usually with two or three varieties available. That's how to do it! It never disappoints! And I feel upper class with the jazz music playing in the background as I leave the store outside. We come here around every couple months and always love it. Mostly high school or college kids working here and the nicest all the time. I always get the gluten free crust, build-your-own pizza and it never disappoints. Only slight criticism I have is I'd like to see the tables wiped down more & especially now with COVID-19. We usually eat outside but tables even inside aren't usually fully clean. Other than that, food and service has always been great. I give 5 stars because both are so good but I'd usually give 4 if table wasn't 100% clean. read more

Last night for the first time we decided to go to our neighborhood pizza! Z pizza, it was a big disappointment. Start with the size they have single pizza as small an on! Then we asked for extra cheese mushrooms, onions, pepperoni. The barista was like pie crust! Chess was much less than normal amount even we asked and paid for extra ! And museum they may used the most two mushrooms. It was the worst pizza I ever had if you compose it to little Cesar pizza or Costco pizza they worth unbelievably 100 percent better than this one in Newport east bluff, I have no idea about rest of the branches. I remember they use to sell pizza in Irvine movie theater and it was good pizza then, I have no idea what happened to them that they are making such a self creation pizza so pathetic, I hope this review be printed so they may do something about it. read more

No shame in admitting I get Zpizza more than the average person, but if you tried their pizza you would understand. Their cauliflower pizza crust is a must try. I actually crave this crust and prefer it to most pizza dough. My favorites: Napoli, Garlic Chicken or Pesto Arugula. Tip: you sign up for their mailer they are always sending out great promotions! While yes, the pizza is fantastic the staff at this location is what keeps us coming back for more. After our first order we were treated like regular customers and truly enjoyed the atmosphere this location created. Making excellent pizza is the hard part. Customer service is easy. I placed an order online to pickup in 40 minutes, which is plenty of time to make one pizza. Easy enough. But I when arrived, and they hadn't even started making the pizza, and didn't know when they could start due to a large catering order. I totally understand a large order. Great. Maybe call me? Text me? Email me back? Turn off online ordering? They had many options to prevent this situation, but failed to do anything at all. I got "it was our bad," which does literally nothing. Wow!!! Shockingly surprised! First timer, and with being Keto I usually order a pizza and just scrape off the toppings. I stopped in before grocery shopping at Ralph's and ordered my pizza to go. I saw they offer cauliflower crust, so I was on it! Being keto, I miss having the crust. I ordered the garlic chicken, and added tomato. When I looked at it before I left, I wasn't impressed. We ordered a cheese pizza and a greek salad to pick up. We scheduled for an hour later. We don't live here- just visiting for a month, but the poor quality really left an impression. The greek salad was arugula, olives, maybe one slice of tomato cut up and a pinch of feta cheese. That was pretty flimsy for a greek salad. We like thin crust but this crust and cheese were way under cooked. This was a poor representation of a pizza restaurant. Never again. Zpizza isn't my most favorite pizza joint, but it IS my most favorite lunch pizza joint. Here's the deal: it's "healthy" pizza. You don't feel like a ball of crap after you eat it, and that's exactly what I want from a lunchtime pizza when I have to go back to the office. They use organic wheat flour, organic tomato sauce, and fresh produce. They sell by the slice, which is a HUGE plus for me. Not many places do that and I'm not exactly going to eat a whole pie by myself at lunch. I'm a huge pepperoni fan and their pepperoni doesn't disappoint. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of trying the Napoli pizza, as the woman in front of me snagged the last two slices of pepperoni. Napoli has roasted garlic sauce (super yum!), mozzarella, tomato, basil, and parmesan. It was soooo good. The sandwiches look super good and a coworker says they are. I'll have to try one next time! I was introduced to Zpizza by a friend awhile ago and I never looked away .. It's not like Papa Johns or Pizzahut. Think of it as gourmet pizza and good! They don't over do it with the sauces - it's just right with the right amount of ingredients. This place was in area that you didn't think it would be there but it is.. it's like a small plaza in the middle of a residential area so either you hear it from word of mouth or you just happen to notice it on the drive to your moms house or something. I'm sure it'll get good recognition later the more word gets out. I believe this place just opened too since everything else in the plaza looked new too. Anyways, I'm sure I'll be back... Dallas set a very good example on how to be patient and kind to grumpy customers like myself. Called and ordered a pizza for lunch time delivery and was told it would be here in an hour or less. 12:10 pm, Not a problem...the pizza is good and it's only 10 minutes into my lunch hour. At 12:30 I called and spoke to Sydney. She says it's out for delivery and should be here in 10-15 minutes. Yes, I'm now irritated, but whatever. At 1 pm I call back and speak to Sydney again. I ask for the manager, Cade, and she tells me he's not in. So I ask who's in charge and get "Hmmm, uh, well I guess that's me". So I proceed to ask about my lunch and get told that the driver is out. I want to cancel my order...she says, well I can have the driver call you. . For what reason, I have no idea. I don't want a pizza that's been in his car for an hour. I tell her to cancel my order since my lunch hour is up. At 1:06pm Miles walks in the door with cold pizza. Turns out, he took the order, there were very busy and ...oh well! The pizza is cold and I am not paying for it! I inform Miles that he shouldn't have taken the order, and promised it in an hour or less, if they couldn't handle the job! My office used to order from this location regularly. We stopped about 18 months ago due to extremely poor customer service and crappy attitudes. I have been going to Z Pizza forever. When Westcliff was shuttered, I was thankful for East Bluff! They have always been great except for TODAY! The typically delectable Yuppie Veggie sandwich was not up to standard. The bread was dry as if it were sitting out for a week. They globbed the mayo on TOP of the side of the sandwich instead of inside. They forgot to put the avocado. The didn't put their oil/vinegar. The result was a VERY DRY and terrible sandwich. They made a new one after I firmly declined the ridiculous option above. Today, ordered a chicken garlic pizza and decided to look at it before leaving. Seems that particular pizza maker thinks he works for a cake palace and decorating a cake. Squirted a heavy zig zag White sauce all over the top -- which was not requested, or wanted, nor was it part of the picture that I ordered from online. The excuse was oh, I think that is the new way they are doing it -- so I would just accept that really gross looking high priced pizza. We pulled up the picture and and I insisted on having the pizza made as per the picture. Lamest Z pizza location. My 30 min. order turned into 45 to 50 mins. Have been a customer for many years and while picking up an order I was told that my service dog was not welcome in the store, he has always accompanied me in the past. I informed the employee, K, of the laws pertaining to service animals. He said did not care and said their policy was no animals at all, he was very obstinate and arrogant while threating to call security. I asked for my pizza and he said he would have to check with the manager. Much to my surprise the manager was standing nearby watching the entire exchange without stepping in. The delivery came and upon opening the box I was already disappointed. I ordered a large cheese pizza and what I got looked like a small. The crust was too thin and the cheese had very little taste. I ordered a delivery for 5:55pm and the delivery came at 5:25pm. I was just getting home and the driver: Mariah - called me. I appreciated the phone call but was also surprised, as it was 30 mins ahead of delivery time! Usually - who would complain but I wasn't home at the time! She was awesome and asked if I wanted to be compensated and I said it was not necessary - upon opening the pizza I found it to be burnt- which in my past three years has NEVER happened!
