Her telephone demeanor abrasive and rude, especially once she discovered my Mother had a managed care plan. As a private practice you should be very mindful of how you treat people, you never know whether your speaking to another provider in the behavioral health field who is looking for help for their loved one and who "would" have made referrals to your office had your interaction come across much different.

He was incredibly dismissive and defensive and leaves you feeling like you were verbally assaulted without just cause. In the current healthcare system, many of us have to pay out-of-pocket for these appointments until our deductible is met, and there is nothing more disheartening, and infuriating, than a provider who pretends to be open-minded and caring for a patient whilst being the complete opposite and gladly taking their money. I went to Dr. Overman for Botox of my elevens. While I was there, she asked me if I clench my jaw…read moreor grind my teeth. She could tell by my appearance that this was an issue. I have a night guard, but never use it because it makes me clench more and I wake up with an aching jaw muscle. I have had broken teeth and broken crowns because I clench and grind while I'm sleeping. I was waking up with a headache almost every morning. Within a week of having Botox in my jaw muscles, my morning headaches were gone. I wish I had learned about this years ago because it would have saved me a bundle on dental work.
