I would give less stars but I can't. The night started off great. Order our drinks and we were going to share food. Got our drinks and enjoyed the music and sunset. Waited about a hour plus for our food and finished our drinks before we even got our food! So we wanted to get dinner somewhere else. The girl that took care of us was rude and disrespectful calling my fiancé sweetie and honey when my fiancé can be old enough to be her mother!!!. Told us that Geneva, NY has nothing open and we should enjoy our food. But they closed at 9 so that gave us 20 mins to eat and enjoy another drink?!? That doesn't make sense. We didn't want to be rushed. And she had an attitude that ruin our appetite. The funny part is there's over 15 places in the town of Geneva to go eat that we found and called to make sure they were open. But she mentioned that nothing is open because she is from there and we should trust her. I would think if you were from Geneva you would promote other places during this crazy time. It's really disappointing to be treated like this especially since this was our first time here. I'm not one to leave negative reviews but this rubbed me the wrong way and was very disappointed in the service. Now we are enjoying a delicious Italian mean in this great town of Geneva. Should train your associates to be better accommodating of their guests. The way my fiancé was spoken to was rude and disrespectful. One of the best tastings we had today. Small place, but beautiful views of the lake and of the vineyard. Tasted all of their dry reds, this one was more expensive than many of the others $5 for 5 samples. However she did give me 6 since I was going through their red flight. The young woman serving us was quick to offer her perspective on which wines she enjoyed and info on where all the grapes come from. There are a few that come from all the way on the other side of the lake. All in all a beautiful place to stop on your journey through wine land. read more

Really like this winery. They focus on dry whites and dry reds, which is definitely up my alley. The tasting room also has a great view of Seneca Lake and they have a nice membership deal if you like their wines. I especially liked their Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir. read more

We went here for dinner and an evening of drinks while on our trip visiting Seneca Lake. The layout of the winery is quite nice and they featured outdoor seating with live music. It was really crowded upon arrival on a Thursday late afternoon/evening and we had to wait in line multiple times, first to order drinks then again a second time to order food since there were too many orders in the first time when we ordered drinks and the kitchen was overwhelmed/overbooked with all the order slips being accounted for at that time. Since it was so crowded we also had to settle for seats further away from the ordering area and live music, under a large tent area on one side of the winery. As it got darker there were no lights at all under the tent so since it took quite a bit to finally get our food we had to hurry things up and eat everything before it got too dark, se we ended up packing a few things to bring home. At that point, we did also have to wait in line at the cashier to pay as well, since they end up opening a tab for you when you place your order via credit card. The wines were okay, we got a dry reisling and a sweeter blush and the food was kinda mixed, with the winner definitely being the specialty z-fries which were excellent. The rest of the stuff we ordered including a meat and cheese appetizer, pizza, hummus, and kabobs, were all okay with no particular standouts. We're renting a place further down the south eastern side of the lake in Hector, and so far I've enjoyed the wineries closer to us a bit more. read more

Stopped in for a tasting and were blown away by the beauty of the views from the tasting room and deck. Our host was helpful and friendly. We're dry wine drinkers and enjoyed several of the wines. Good wine and nice views. Aside from that, the service was far from good. No greeting and no courtesy. The staff was more interested joking and talking amongst themselves than to even think about providing a somewhat nice experience for my family. By the time I got someone's attention (took me five minutes just to wave down one of the five staff members that weren't even busy), the staff acted as though I was a bother and they were annoyed serving me. A simple question about the taste of the wine was met with a dismissive tone. After buying a bottle of Rose, I wasn't even offered an ice bucket during 80+ degree weather. I don't understand why folks are put in charge of interacting with customers when they don't know how to behave and basic quality service.....I guess it's hard to find good workers these days, especially those who were raised to treat people with basic courtesy. Many better places in the Finger Lakes region to try, but so far, I find the atmosphere and attitudes to be much better at the wineries in the western part of the country. read more

This is my favor place to relax on Seneca Lake. It as simple vineyard with delicious wine. A sampling is never needed- we just grab a bottle and sit on the deck and look at the beautiful view. Their chef here is amazing. They have a Phoenician bistro menu with Zatar fries and Shwarmas - we come here specifically for the food . They simply do an amazing job! read more

We went expecting to love this vineyard based on ambiance alone. Unfortunately the rudeness of the staff, especially Laura, left such a bad taste in our mouth (a group of 15) that I had no choice but to write this review. Sadly this winery lost out on much revenue because we were all here for the weekend and bought many bottles at most wineries. But she was so incredibly rude none of us were inclined to buy even one bottle of wine. Sorry for you, get a new staff that makes people feel welcome. read more

Went in for a tasting and was greeted at the door by a friendly employee. She kindly showed us an open spot at the tasting bar and let us know that another employee would be with us shortly. I'm only reason I am giving them a 1 star is because it won't let me leave a 0.... my wife and I had paid a 700 dollar deposit to have our wedding there about a year and a half in advance. We then went through 3 different representatives all together. First tells us we could have our wedding at said time. Then told us we had to go over an hour later due to parents weekend in the area (info wasn't told to us even though they knew the date) and we would have no daylight for photos. Forcing us to look for another venue. We spoke to representative number 2 about getting a refund due to the changes being on their part and approved giving us a complete refund on the deposit...we never got it. Then the 3rd told us they would send the full amount and then went back and only gave us half of what was owed...they then ignored us for getting the rest back. Don't book with them they will screw you over and not give you what's owed for reasons that is their responcibility read more

Very cute place! Clean and inviting - spacious with a gorgeous deck and view of the lake. They had comfortable Adirondack chairs to sit in and relax. The wine tasting consisted of 5 wines and you could choose your mix of sweet or dry - no need to commit to one or the other. The staff was friendly and welcoming and they were understanding that we missed our appointment time due to traffic on the ride up and let us come later in the day. Beautiful and quiet, but I am very disappointed with the service and staff attitude. Came in with a group, and things started out fine at first. Staff seemed overwhelmed and unsure of what they were doing and forgot to finish a tasting for a few of us. No big deal. Then, a specific blonde staff member began slamming things and acting miserable to everyone. She was clearly frustrated by one or two quite buzzed members of our group. That's very understandable, however, you are a winery. You need to expect that you're going to deal with people who have had too much to drink. I would just assume things would still be handled in a respectful and professional way. This blonde woman was extremely rude and disrespectful to people in my group, including myself, who was sober. Then she stomped to the kitchen and slammed the door. We are paying customers, and deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect and that is not what we got. I attempted to ask for a manager, and was ignored by a male staff member. This woman even snapped at another group for bringing in a wine slushee. I have recommended to my friends and family and all over social media that no one go here or hold events here. I have tried to contact the winery and been ignored. read more

It was our very good fortune to have spotted this out of the blue just driving by, We went in and received a warm welcome from a wonderful staff, we decided to try the five wine sampler tray and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wines. Poor experience. Because we chartered transportation for the day, our group of 8 was directed to the crowded corner to taste their cheaper (read: garbage) selection of wines. Stopped on a wine tour. Facility was nice, staff friendly, but I honestly didn't care much for any of the wines. Nothing stood out to me. Were priced a bit higher than similar styles at other places. Was going to buy some items (small Christmas ornaments), but had to wait 3-4 minutes until anyone saw me at register (we were only group there) and then I saw the ornaments were broken. We celebrated my son's 21st birthday at Zugibe's at the suggestion of a former employee and we are so happy we did! We had a small plates/ wine pairing meal created for us. Thee staff was fabulous -- professional, friendly and fun. The event manager, Hannah, was so helpful to me in the planning process and suggested florists and transportation options, among others. She made it a wonderful evening. The venue is gorgeous and the food (catered by Michael Colvin) was beyond our expectations.
