This drive is a special treat, because the last bit of road before Lech is only open during the summer. The Post offers quality dining al fresco at a reasonable price. The views of the Zugspitze and Schneefernerkopf at sunset on a fine summer evening are unforgettable.

The staff is helpful, courteous, and very attentive, possibly some of the best, if not the best, I have ever come across in my 20+ years of travel. The resort is very comfortable with the perfect amount of rustic charm and scenery that is impossible to compare. The pool and spa is fantastic. The outdoor jacuzzi bed could be my new favorite thing. This is definitely a must do if you are ever in the Austrian Alps.
