From a culinary point of view in the middle of nowhere. Of course, the parking lot was also jam-packed but right at the entrance, they had an abandoned table for two. They were serving the main course for about half a dozen large parties at once who all ordered meat on a hot stone. It seems to be the specialty of the house and since there was no more Cordon-blue available I went for the same option. The meat was horse-filet and some side dishes like croquettes and seasonal vegetable and some sauces. It was delicious but I had to grill it my self on that hot stone first. The grease was sprouting all over the place so I was glad the waitress has wrapped a large napkin around my neck first. I didn't help to keep my close from smelling like a frying pan but I guess that's the deal eating this kind of dish. The staff was very friendly and super fast, always focusing on the needs of the guests. Would I go back there? Well, I wouldn't plan an extra trip just to be back like at other places, but definitely go again if I'm in the area cuz there's probably nowhere else to go (accroding to Yelp it is).

My veggie curry was just OK, but my hubby's chicken was tops- it was juicy served in a port wine sauce (tell me if I should stop!) It's kind of a hippie joint, with healthy, local eats. They even had key lime pie for an after dinner sweet! We ate so much that we had to get the pie to-go, without any take-away plates, so they made one for us, you know! Oh Kurve, my Kurve, in an old metzgerei, you should come on down- and dine on nutritious eats from Brugg (and surrounding) towns!

The lunch menu has something for everyone. The pizza is always excellent: crispy, thin, super topping. If the chef himself stands by the oven, then there is a top-class meat. And the Venetian liver is a dream. Here the 1-hour lunch break becomes a little Italy holiday.
