In addition to a Nutella croissant, poppyseed Danish, and apple pastry, we ordered scrambled eggs with Feta to share... which also came with two (pre-sliced, hallelujah!) bread rolls. Accompanied by two giant mugs of hot chocolate, this was definitely more food than we had planned on eating, but it was a perfect start to a day of rummaging through other people's stuff. The staff was friendly and efficient, as well. If you're looking for a simple, tasty breakfast at a price unusually reasonable for the area, give Perle Bakery a try!

Alongside a varied drink menu (soda, coffee, smoothies), you can order Scandinavian treats, ranging from porridge and baked goods to breakfast and sandwiches. Everything served is vegetarian, and a lot of the options can be made vegan. On my first visit, I had the Smørrebrød, which was a nice snack. They also bake vegan Kanelbullar, which is reason enough to visit. On my second visit, I had the Gröt, which was made fresh and warmed me right up! This place can get pretty busy over the weekend, and even when it's not crowded, it takes a while to get the food, so don't come here in a hurry. But if you have time to leisurely enjoy a bite to eat alongside a good friend or over a good book, it's not a bad spot.
