I was warmly greeted and was taken to the changing area immediately where the lockers and clothing requirements were explained clearly. The technician came for me moments after that and he was kind and friendly and he explained the procedures and set me up for the optimal imaging keeping my comfort in mind. He was easy to talk to and made sure I was calm and prepared. He also made sure that I had the music I preferred for the duration of the test. I would use this facility again and I would recommend this facility. There are many testing rooms and everything was clean and appeared modern.

I would strongly recommend against using them for anything unless they obtain pre-approval from your insurer. They are terrible and just flat out refused to answer my questions or to send information showing medical necessity to my insurer. I would recommend that you use another provider or that any procedure you get from them be pre-approved for coverage so you don't end up in the same boat.

Massapequa Imaging said they wound 'red flag' it. Which meant yet another 24 hours. That conversation took place 24 hours ago; still no results. We tried calling three times, but no one had the decency to answer. Our doctor called, but her call was not taken either. Massapequa Imaging dies not do their job; irresponsible and unprofessional are words that apply. Making an elderly woman with pneumonia symptoms just wait and cough. Massapequa Imaging responds to all of their bad reviews the same way: 'Sorry!' Saying sorry does not help one bit. It is not a professional response. Instead of sorry, how about just doing your job? It's just shameful.

I went today for 2 ultrasound scans. I had 'zero' wait time - I was taken right in. The woman who did the scans was extremely sweet (Annie) and made the whole experience calming and pleasant. I wish I could give both of the young ladies 20 stars, but that is not offered. Less than 1.5 hours later, my report results were posted on the Optum (My Chart) website - who could ask for more??
