Zwillings J.A. Henckels Glass Hazard Disclosure: My experience with this business is a horrible, bad,deplorable, and frustrating experience. This is regarding unsafe Low-grade Cookware Packaging AND Systemic Call Evasion, and Portal Deception. Their portal for reporting issues is a hilarious joke, they don't respond to the portal. J.A. Henckels and Zwillings and their representatives does not respond to phone calls, and portal, it is extremely difficult to reach this company after you make a purchase. My shipment arrived damaged on arrival broken glass lids all over and through out the box because of extreme poor Packaging and negligence. Henckels, has extremely low-grade manufacturing standards, shipping negligence, and defensive customer service loops operated by Zwillings and J.A. Henckels, I cut my hand twice on the loose glass. Henckels, distributed fragile, uninsulated glass lids packed directly on top and beneath of heavy Stainless Steel Pots. This severe Packaging deficit resulted in the Cookware Lids arriving completely shattered, causing cuts injuries to my hand upon opening the box.It is a complete failed disas. Furthermore, Zwillings J A. Henckels Corporate Management has engaged in blatant misrepresentation and deliberately ignoring my phone calls, and having a computer answer the phone,and I couldn't leave a message. When I attempted several times to report my injuries and hazardous broken glass delivery on arrival, their telephone completely blocked my access, utilizing an automated computer recording and stating that no representatives were available and refusing to accept my messages. The corporate office has since then had the audacity to claim that they received no phone notifications,directly contradicting their own automated call system. In a recent written email response, Henckels, explicitly admitted knowledge of my hand injury and conceded corporate liability by stating they will use better care in their Packaging in the future yet they still willfully demanded that I, the injured victim clean up the debris, and risk getting injured again by glass cuts,Zwillings and J.A. Henckels,is a reckless, cheap, poor excuse, and so called business that actively compromises my safety to cut corporate Packaging costs, I requested that they hire a company that could safely disposed the glassand send the box back to them, and they refused,and are holding my respond hostage until they get the damaged merchandise back to them.I didn't create this Issue. Henckels, and Zwillings did by not Packaging the product adequately for the merchandise Stainless Steel Set to be transported safely to me,they are responsible for their lackadaiscal , cheap and negligent actions. A formal Hazard investigation will be submitted to the Federal Consumer Product Safety Commission to enforce strict regulatory compliance, there is a law against transporting unsafe hazardous materials to prevent myself, mail workers,and garbage em from being injured as a result of their reckless, blatant, negligence and their disregard for my i juries and are trying to coerce me into mailing a severely damaged box back to them, they don't care about me or anyone, their greed has consumed them,all they care about is the money I spent, selfish and greedy. Zwillings and Henckels are refusing to accept responsibility for their own careless deplorable negligent actions. As far as the knifes go, I have no complaints, they are a fairly decent product for the money. As far as customer service, they leave a lot to be desired. I have attempted to contact them about a problem I am having and they have not responded. What good is a lifetime warranty if they don't honor it. Would suggest you look at other manufacturers if service after sale is important to you. Just an update: They contacted me approx. 30minutes after I posted. Based on their response I'm fairly confident they did not read the original email, just responded to the review. I emailed them again, asked them to go back and read the original email. read more

If you ever slice and dice in the kitchen you know the importance of a quality knife. Almost giving up on one of my knives to have sharpened. I forgot his name, but this guy here taught me how to revive my knives by using a 2 step sharpener. It worked! I have used my German Heckels for over 15 years. Some are made in Spain or even China. We came here specifically to find a boning knife and after trying to find it at other stores that carry Henckels, we should of come here first! This shop is tiny, but carries all the Henckels line along with Mayabi and others. The guys here know their inventory and are knowledgeable. This shop is Henckels only west coast store in the US! David was very friendly too! It is worth the drive to come to this gem of a store if you need anything Henckels. This shop is near the Gap Factory, so look for that store from the parking lot. read more

I sent 1 pot and 2 pans in after they turned brown and became very sticky. I was advised by warranty associates and was told I should receive a call/email regarding the replacement. I included my name, email and phone number and sent it out at the end of June 2020. I never heard anything and I called them at the end of October 2020. I only got one pan back in October. When I finally got a call through in November, they told me the pot and pan were out of stock. They said they'd let me know in the next couple days when I should get them because they were supposed to get a shipment. A week passed so I called again. They now said they "think" the product was discontinued and I'd have to wait 2 weeks to confirm. If discontinued I could pick out new pot/pan. I told them to just start the process for a new one, but they refused. I called back a week later Nov. 20, 2020 with "Valentine" and manager "Una." Both confirmed the items were discontinued so I picked out a new pot/pan. They said it would be shipped out that day with 'expediting' 2 day shipping so it should arrive by Thanksgiving. It never arrived so I called on Nov. 30, 2020. Valentine said they were waiting on the pot to come in, contrary to the last call when he told me they had everything I ordered in stock. He told me it could take up to another 4 weeks to get the pot/pan from a different warehouse. Again after talking to many different people with different stories, they said it should ship out by Dec. 7, 2020 and arrive by Dec. 11th. I called again on Dec. 1st, and they said it was packaged and waiting to be picked up by UPS, but didn't know when it would be picked up and had no shipping confirmation to give me. I spoke to Bed, Bath, Beyond who told me to call Zwillings CEO. I have spoke with 2 different Managers (Una and Leigh) and many warranty customer service techs, none of which have helped me get my pot/pans that I have been missing for 6 months. They had no interest in making the situation right, one manager muted me on the phone stating I was cursing, which I do not curse, and all denied me the request to speak to their higher supervision or provide contact info for furthered assistance. I was very dissatisfied with their costumer service. I brought back 2 items to return/exchange they took one item back and didn't take back the other one (the knife holder) that was opened but never used. We just opened it to see it and wanted to get something else. Said they got a new system and if you want To return or exchange go to the Santa Monica location because that is a retail store and they are a factory store now... makes no sense. Long story short the staff was very rude and talked back and basically told us to shut up because we were trying to say it's not used and their policy change makes no sense with lifetime warranty, etc... Went to picked up my knives recently and Chris was the person that was helping me out. I've been going there for years and never had any issues. But the interaction I had with Chris was horrible. Bad customer service and nasty attitude. Staff need training to not speak certain way to customers or made rude unnecessary comments. should definitely not be working in customers service with that attitudes like that. Alex was very helpful and guided me to the proper knife for basic prep. I do love how this company hires chefs' that know what their talking about. As l was ready to checkout another man approached me and started to go on and on and on about all types of knives . He wouldn't let me talk and displayed me with 10+ different knives. I had the knife l wanted in my hand already, like just let me checkout and go about my day. I didn't want to know about future sales or what sales happened last year.
