Was in the area and decided to check out this castle on a whim. It makes for an interesting visit. The guide did a good job of showing the different eras and how the castle was modified over the centuries. Lots of antique interiors, furniture and decorations. Just imagining what it was like to live in this place before the arrival of electricity is pretty mind-boggling. Really liked the detailed tiles on the old stoves.
