Christoffer provides an excellent and personal service, making you feel welcome and really works hard to pin-point what kind of bouquet you would like. My husband and I bought a bouquet for the mother-in-law's birthday, and it was a success! This is a store we will come back to, and on Facebook there are hints that a second store will open up at Södermalm in the spring!

(Some other stores in the area showed off flowers that were infested with bugs previously.) We have been shopping there repeatedly the last few years and what we have bought have always been a success. That even for the stranger requests like "a couple of cacti for the nephew's 6th birthday, the bigger the needles are the better" as well as for an impressive birthday bouquet for the mother-in-law's birthday. Today we entered with the request for half-a-dozen lavish, green plants to wet the appetite for potential customers in an ad. The staff was very helpful and helped us get exactly what we wanted.

It made everything look pretty fancy like I spent a lot more money than I did! HA! I also have to mention that the quality and type of flowers they carry here are much more desirable than anywhere else I have been to in Stockholm. I usually come in here for a gift bouquet. I tell the girls behind the counter what i'm looking for and then tell them to keep it under 300kr.... it turns out perfect every time! Their designs don't feel like your grandma's flowers. The last time I said make it girly and pinkish and it was adorable. They even put a berry on a twig in it! So cute! They had an endless supply of vases of all sizes and materials to choose from. It feels nice inside and the service is really good! I came in on a busy holiday weekend once and a slippery old lady tried to cut in front of me in line but the woman serving everyone didn't let her get away with it! =) the only thing I wish they had more of was more flowers on display and more variety that you could self-arrange bouquets from. If i wanted to make my own arrangement right now, I wouldn't be able to do it without assistance from behind the counter (slowing down the line and feeling a bit pressured to hurry up). This being what I think is the nicest flower shop in Stockholm, I Highly recommend a visit! If your looking for a trendy flower gift, give this a place a try!

Really, really bad!! I ordered a mixed Christmas flowers pot (julgrupp) in medium size from…read moreInterflora, to be delivered by Melanders Blommor. This was for my aunt who lives in Stockholm. I visited her a day after the flowers arrived and was shocked. Shocked over the tiny small, low quality flowers in that pot. I understand that the picture shown on the Interflora website is just an example of what will be delivered. However, the picture is there for a reason - To get an idea of what you order. What was delivered was not in any way similar to my order. Melanders Blommor obviously used the cheapest, tiniest flowers to get the most profit out of the order. I paid 700 SEK for this and my estimate of what was delivered is probably closer to 150 SEK. That is not the worst though. What is worse is that this was something that I bought for my 95-year old aunt to enjoy. This was only embarrassing and sad. I think Melanders Blommor should loose their Interflora "license" (or whatever they have). I will of course give my feedback to Interflora as well.
