I then called to let them know I wound be running a little late because the tram was behind schedule. Whoever answered the phone told me to cancel my reservation and that they were full. Fearing a misunderstanding, I attempted to explain the situation but the person on the phone told me they had to work. Despite this very negative interaction, I showed up anyway. I noticed they had canceled my reservation 6 minutes before it was scheduled for, but I had just ridden the tram 25 minutes to the restaurant, not including the time I spent waiting for it, so I was definitely going at that point. Anyway, I showed up and they claimed I didn't have a reservation but sat me anyway, which is how I figured it would go down. I also noticed the restaurant was far from full when I arrived and stayed that way my entire meal. They even had a table they were able to offer me which looked like it had been set for my reservation. So just a warning to anyway looking to eat here that your mileage may vary. My review would be very different if they hadn't sat me. On to the food though. I had an aperitif that I'm not sure what it was but it was decent. Nothing super special about it. Next, the Chef's Surprise for the starter was a soup that was very good, it was a tad spicy but I really liked it. I'd definitely eat it again. And for the main, I had the Goat. The Goat was absolutely amazing, fall apart tender, and so flavorful. The Goat was good enough to come back for, I would show my friends this restaurant just based on the quality of the Goat. Last for dessert, I had the coconut cake, which I found un-notable. The coconut flavor was muted and the flavor wasn't good enough to warrant ordering it again. Overall, great restaurant, despite the initial hiccup. I cannot overstate how good the Goat was. I would definitely recommend coming here. I would bring one of my friends here and would definitely tell a friend to come here if asked for a Bordeaux restaurant recommendation.

The dishes appear quaint, so if you're someone who needs a lot of visual stimulation, this might turn you off. Dishes are neet, carefully arranged but simple, lacking the extra you may find elsewhere. If you come, order a menu assortment to taste the full range of what they have to offer. For the guys, this is a place to bring someone you are interested in. Charming, light, but somewhat intimite and close to bars so as to transition for a more active part of the night. Don't waste it!
