The large courtyard reminds me of several caravanserai I've seen in other parts of the city. Gaziantep was an important stop off point for camel caravans coming from Aleppo and traveling to other parts of the Ottoman Empire. Very cool history. Several bazaars popular with tourists and the Gaziantep Castle are nearby (walking distance). There is a lot of flavor in this part of Gaziantep. They were setting up for a wedding in the courtyard when I visited, which wasall decorated very nicely for the soon-to-be newlyweds. I don't know about the rooms. The hotel is only two stories tall and has a lot of character.
