Perhaps it has gotten a bit commercialized--with so many people coming through, it makes sense that they would have to have some meat already cooked up and ready; but whatever the reason, the BBQ was dry like it was overcooked. Beans and potato salad were good. Sausage ok but not consistent--some bites were quite fatty. Not worth the 30 min wait standing in line. Liked the long wooden tables and the brown paper on which the meal is carried and eaten. No plates. The smokehouse section is very quaint--loved the old stuff that is still being used today. read more
