I was a bit skeptical about a dry cleaner that charges only $1.75 per article. But, I am an unemployed student so I took a chance with my not so-valuable tops. I'm a messy eater so I had ice cream, salad dressing, and alcohol (to name a few) stains on my tops. They were ready in two days in PERFECT shape.
Jenna was working at the check in and I asked her why it was so cheap. I guess the owner has a number of other dry cleaners in Greensboro and probably has a deal with the out source he gets the clothes cleaned at. But, word on the street is that in a few months prices will go up 20 cents. Still under $2! A steal for me!!!
If you think that's still too pricey for you, Google "talk of the town coupons" and find this establishment on there! ..THANKS for the tip Jenna!
Although I had good luck with my first 3 blouses, I don't think I'll be bringing my silk tops here. I wouldn't want to take my chances. But, for other fabrics (besides leather and silk) I would DEFEINITELY trust and recommend this place! =)
**UPDATED**
It is now called $1.95 Cleaners. They uped their prices. I stopped taking my clothes here after it took them 4 tries to try to take a stain off of my dress. Which they never mentioned they couldn't take it off- every time I went to RE-PICK up my item.
So be warned...CHECK YOUR CLOTHES BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE. read more
