I recently had some problems with my teeth. I was in a lot of pain. My regular dentist was of no help. I went to another dentist to see if they could help me and all they did was charge me a lot of money and then refer me to someone else. It took two weeks for the first appointment and it was going to take another three weeks before my next appointment, all the mean while I am in major pain. My husband finally convinced me to try out this new dentist in lower QA, The New Face of Dentistry. He had talked so highly of them but I really didn't buy much into it thinking all dentists are the same. I couldn't have been any more wrong. He called them and set up an appointment for me the next day. When I first stepped into the office I couldn't believe what I was looking at. It looked nothing like a dentist office and better yet, it smelled nothing like a dentist office. Shaun & Dr. Ryan greeted us at the door and walked us over to our dental suite. I must say that I've never been so comfortable around a doctor and/or dentist before. He really treated me with respect and actually listened to what I had to say. After Dr. Ryan listened to my concerns he took some digital X-rays. He showed me on the computer monitor that he thought my problem was a very small cavity. The other dentists were recommending a root canal! He told me that it didn't look as though the cavity had reached the nerve and that a root canal would most likely not be needed. He did a small filling for me and my problem was immediately fixed. It's been six weeks now and still no problems. My regular dentist said that there was no problem! My second opinion said they were pretty sure that I would need a root canal and that I had to see another dentist to confirm their assessment. After nearly two months of pain, conflicting dentist's opinions and more bills Dr. Ryan solved my problem with one session! It just goes to show you that dentists are NOT all the same and that the difference between a good dentists and a bad one can mean the difference between lots of pain in the teeth and the wallet! Not only did Dr. Ryan come to my rescue but the whole experience was unbelievable. The shot that he gave me didn't hurt at all. The equipment they use is real quite and I was able to watch a movie with headphones while he fixed my tooth. Dr. Ryan will be my new dentist from now on! If you don't currently have a dentist, go to Dr. Ryan! If you do currently have a dentist, drop them like a bad habit and go with Dr. Ryan! read more
