I am a superintendent for a commercial general contractor. I am very pleased with our new driveway from Three Guys Construction. Tony maintained good communication through the process, was receptive to ideas about my concerns about our driveway [e.g. adding a thickened edge since it was being placed near the edge of the property and an informally terraced lot line], and was easy to talk with about the plan for placement (forming, concrete ordering, expansion joints, alignment). They used #3 bar, which I think is adequate, and did a great job pulling out the existing gravel driveway and landscaping to make a clean edge. They also took out a broken parking pad for me. I was very happy with their foreman on the day of placement, he responded to my question about control joint placement by walking me through all of the lines he had already determined and marked. The final joints are at an appropriate depth and you can see the controlled cracking. The level of finish was much higher than I was expecting - we're very very happy. read more
