An amazing place. Seriously, there is outstanding cooking going on here. I ordered the lamb chop dinner. Incredible! First, they bring a basket of fresh warm bread with two dipping sauces (tzatziki and what I can only describe as a marinara sauce with a kick - Ezme dip, perhaps). Then the lamb chops - so incredibly seasoned with Mediterranean spices, with a depth of flavor, perfectly cooked (not over), and a wonderful char. Tender and deliciously messy. Served with rice and cabbage salad with tzatziki. The hot tea also came as part of the meal with refills, and I ordered the excellent Turkish coffee (which came with a Turkish delight). I had the opportunity to try their lentil soup as well - not the thick lentil soup that may come to mind, but the equivalent of a rich lentil broth with, again, that perfect depth of flavor. I was so full I had to take the pistachio baklava to go. read more
