I hadn't been here since the new owners took over and all I can say is: wow, they absolutely killed it! The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm and welcoming, and the drinks were top notch. Got a neat pour of their whiskey which was a nice, sweet, sipper. High corn in the mash bill. I also picked up their seasonal N/A mocktail, the "Higher Love" that was amazing. Really well balanced with rich turmeric, punchy ginger, warming five spice, and fresh herbs. My highlight, though, was definitely the "Devil's Egg". It's essentially a fantastically well constructed jello shooter, but I recommend taking it in 2/3 bites so you can experience it more. Another masterclass in flavors and texture. You just have to get one to experience it for yourself; trust me. I definitely plan on grabbing some food on the way and making a bee-line back for one, or two, more Devil's Eggs. read more
