" Hi my Foodie Fam I just had the most disappointing experience at my local 7 Eleven for the highly anticipated 7/11 annual free Slurpee event. As soon as I excitedly entered the store, I was met with a disheartening announcement from the staff who yelled across the counter that they were completely out of Slurpees. Can you believe it? Undeterred, I decided to investigate further and headed to the back of the store where the Slurpee machines were supposed to be flowing with icy goodness. To my dismay, they were turned off and labeled 'No Slurpee'. ‍ Talk about a major letdown! I couldn't help but feel disappointed considering the hype around this event and the fact that 7 Eleven was expecting large crowds.
