7-11 is a classic stop for snacks and road-fuel, and this location is one we've frequented on many a late-night Pokemon hunt. The parking lot was, as always, clean and approachable and the interior was as well. When we stopped in it was mid-day and the hot box was well-stocked with some of our favorite things, although the gentlemen ahead of me did manage to grab the last chicken sandwich on the rack. No matter, I simply went to the cheeseburger instead. I also discovered what may be my new favorite drink at 7-11, and that's the 7-11 signature brand flavored waters, in this case the watermelon flavor. The foundation of apple juice the water is built on was apparent, but it definitely had a pleasant watermelon flavor due no doubt to their using actual watermelon juice from concentrate. I also have to applaud the way the staff dealt with a situation that occurred during my visit. When I went through the line a second time (through no fault of the staff) it turned out that the man ahead of me had been sassing the attendant, and the grabbed the buttocks of the woman in line behind him. She immediately called him out and he was told to leave the store and not come back. They immediately offered to provide her with the security footage of the incident, and I was quick to step outside and grab the license plate off the gold Escalade he climbed into. The rapid response of the staff was appreciated, as was their willingness to stand up for their patron's safety. All told a great visit, and I'll definitely be back. read more
