So the bartender Jeff said on arrival, this is the best Happy Hour in Chesapeake. I thought to myself, hmmmm I'll see. So Jeff gave us a couple of menus to check things out. Yeah I have to agree this just might be the best happy hour in Chesapeake! ! The restaurant/bar is located inside of the Marriott hotel off of Woodlake Drive in the greenbrier area of the city. The hotel is near: Wawa, other hotels, a few eateries and the Chesapeake Conference Center. There's also a fun place for children nearby, Cloud 9 (Trampoline Park) and shopping that's less than five minutes away. So yeah you may think this hotel isn't by many attractions but I beg to differ. But let's get back to this most amazing happy hour. Well the happy hour specials take place Mon - Fri 4pm to 7pm. My babe took advantage of the specials on Friday. He raved heavily about the mussels, shrimp and wings, I thought to myself okok...but you like everything boo. So for that I couldn't trust his opinion alone. here we are on a Saturday and I wanted happy hour specials. Ask and it shall be given... Jeff was working Saturday night and remembered my babe from the evening before. As a result, he said for us, I'll honor the hh specials today too. Oh what joy! !! Let's see... I had a vodka and pineapple for $5. Made perfectly! !! I ordered: steamed shrimp, Thai wings, and a side of sautéed spinach. My babe ordered the mussels. So yeah, this was plenty to share amongst the two of us. The food arrived about 10 minutes later. Everything was excellent! !! So that food and 5 mixed drinks the total was a little over $50...and we didn't even finish the wings. So yeah I was highly satisfied!! The service, conversation, pricing and atmosphere was super chill!! The bar wasn't busy at all, but I'm sure the snowy weather played a factor. But the bar/lounge set up is super sexy!! Bar top, large round booths, cushioned chairs, low lighting if requested...it's all that. And for your convenience or extra pleasure, proceed to the front desk and book a room. The hh also features: flatbread, pizza, fried pickles, pretzel something, wings (Thai, Old Bay, Buffalo), drafts, wine, martinis and well drinks. I'd recommend you bookmark this place ASAP.
