The Reeves Theater & Cafe is located in Downtown Elkin. The building was open in 1941 and showed movies. in 2013 it was restored and turned into a live music venue. The historic theater is beautiful and all the seats are pretty close to the stage. On the sides are box seats so more elevated then the center seats. The acoustics are amazing here. I attended a the Martha Bassett Show which was a live taping of a radio show and different people come to perform. The theater is unique in that it has its own cafe. I didn't get there early enough for a meal but they have pretzels, popcorn and bakery items. The staff at the bar was so friendly and made it easy to order.
