Visited Don Juan's for the first time this weekend. We were seated immediately by a super friendly wait staff. We had barely sat down when a gentleman arrived with hot chips and yummy salsa. We asked for a side of salda verde, and was not disappointed! We initially came just for the margaritas but after perusing the menu selections, we decided to eat. First, we started with a large pitcher of Mango Margarita. This cost about $17 and gave us three decent size glasses each. The margarita was extremely good! Next, I decided on the pork carnitas and had them add salsa verde, which also came with rice, beans and tortillas of your choice. It was great, but the pork was a bit salty. My companion got an order of chori pollo, which is chicken covered with chorizo and cheese, which he said was excellent. I believe the total for both of us including the pitcher, was around $40. Not bad. I would definitely return to try some more dishes. read more
