This was our first visit. I must admit we tried it out as it was nearby and since we received a mailer with coupons. Who doesn't love a coupon to give you more value for your dollar! As one enters, we placed our order at the counter. You're given a plastic placard with a number. A server brings your food to your table. Drinks are self serve and refills are complimentary. They also have shakes, malts, and custard( yogurt). Love that they play "oldies" music. Culver's offers a very relaxed and cozy environment, different from the typical fast food experience. We ordered the North Atlantic Cod value basket. It came with a fresh filet of fish, flaky and tender. It would be even tastier with more tartar sauce as it didn't have a strong fish flavor (or smell). It was on a tasty butter bun. The fries are crinkle cut and fresh, slightly on the saltier side. We discovered afterwards that one has a choice of different sides! Next time we will try a different side! What I especially love is that Culver's is considerate of those with food allergies. They have a nutritional and food allergen guide to inform customers of ingredients, common food allergens and possible cross contaminants. We will look forward to coming back to Culver's.
