I really like the look of the bar here and this is my first time back in about three years. I actually went for cocktails and appetizers on a Saturday night in August, and then returned the following morning for brunch. Saturday night they seemed to be shortstaffed at the bar so Service was slightly lackluster, but the cocktails were delicious. I did enjoy both of my appetizers, I had the charred octopus, and I had oysters on the half shell. I do realize that there are condos above the restaurant, and so some of the patrons are well-known and regulars, and that was evident in that I felt like the bartenders were more attentive to the people that they knew. No one was unfriendly, but I didn't feel as welcome. Sunday morning I had brunch at the bar, and I had eggs and bacon and sausage and toast. The toast had no butter and I wasn't given butter, jam, or even salt and pepper. I had to ask for hot sauce and butter and salt and pepper, and then finally she did bring a basket that had all kinds of condiments for breakfast in it, but it was a little too late. Again , I think they were slightly shortstaffed on this weekend. The bartender was very nice. I definitely would return, the craft cocktails I had here were excellent & I enjoy the ambiance of this restaurant. read more
