This was my first time here. It was pretty good.
The ambience was your standard Mexican restaurant. Nothing flashy or fancy about it.
As is the norm, they immediately brought out chips and salsa. The chips were pretty good and the salsa was tasty however, a little spicier than I prefer, but it was good.
I also ordered the small cheese dip. It was good. One of the problems with Mexican restaurant cheese dips in this area is, they are usually very runny, but this one was not. It was a little runnier than I prefer, but it was thick enough to stick to the chips and that is the way it should be.
I ordered the lunch Quesadilla Rellena with shredded chicken. It came with rice, guacamole, and lettuce. I just realized that the menu says it comes with refried beans, but I did not get it for some reason.
The quesadilla itself was rather bland, but once I put on a little bit of the cheese dip, some of the salsa, and the guacamole, it was very good.
The service was excellent. The young lady that served me was very attentive and friendly. I went around 1 PM, which would be after the lunch rush and I was one of only maybe four or five parties there. It took a little longer than I expected to bring the food, but it was fresh and hot, so I didn't mind.
Overall, it was very good, I would go back and try something new next time. read more
