For what this place is- I think it is excellent. My first and most recent visit here was nothing short of exceptional. We walked in and grabbed our own seats, with a waitress coming by quickly to grab our drinks. She was tentative on filling them back up when empty without being asked- and we drank a lot of water so that was very nice to have constantly refreshed instead of having to ask.
First for food, we ordered the spring rolls. I have had a lot of spring rolls in my day and these were probably the best ones I've ever had. For $7, you get 4 of the largest, freshest tasting spring rolls that you'll ever have from a restaurant. They were super hot and enjoyable all the way through and the sweet chili dipping sauce was great.
For entrees we both got the fish tacos, and they were fabulous. There wasn't a ton of fish in each one but it was a perfect portion to where I wasn't super full and the flavor was excellent. I also loved the sauce that was put on the tacos. You can get beans and rice or chips and salsa and I went the chips and salsa route which was a solid choice. All around, food was great for the money, much better than I expected.
We did not order any drinks but they had a great happy hour and I'll attach some photos of the happy hour menu. Everyone here seemed to be a local and know eachother so definitely had a local vibe instead of being touristy. Will definitely be returning for happy hour and spring rolls in the future. read more
