Top quality salvadorian cuisine is all I was missing in my life , but those days are long gone after finding el salamar! Lol I unexpectedly found this newly established restaurant serving salvadorian cuisine near the 10fwy- riverside ave exit in Rialto. I made a pit stop to try some of their dishes and it left me wanting more ! I have been visiting 2x a week and pupusas are always freshly made and It is authentic as it can possibly be. I have dined in and ordered pickup (ordered my go to pupusas revueltas ) and food has always been fresh, hot and tasty! Portions are very generous... I also tried their fish ceviche tostadas and that was very savory as well . They do offer authentic salvadorian bottled drinks and fresh made waters ( agua-ensalada) that are a must try. Can't recommend enough to stop by on Tuesday specials, pupusas are 2$ and try them all . Although a salvadorian specialty restaurant, you will find Mexican and American options too. Everything is cooked to order so it will not disappoint. The establishment is not crowded and plenty of seating for large crowds. Staff is always very friendly and attentive. read more
